This product is not good because it kept on breaking and the blade wouldn’t stay. I was very disappointed

I have got a partial saw with no engine. A couple of parts from a used chainsaw. No box provided although it was clearly listed as included. See the picture to see how I have received it! Is this what you call "Reconditioned" ? Thank you,

PACKAGED W/ONLY 1 inadequate piece of crumpled packing paper &unwrapped a Homelite Brand saw blade?(unlike picture? w/chain laid off of(&Knicked up the body&handle of chainsaw(go figure?f& not at all what i expected..aside that it will get returned w/my searching for a better tool.. Having No problems w Ryobi items delivered before .however were NIP bttrys,chrgers ,rotary cutter etc.,or recondtioned. cordless drill set & cordlss. recip.sawsall..w/o any issues like this had? Im sorry to say! 3 days after delivery&back in box w/o any use or desire in using ..only project postponed! no sweat!(literally)lol!

Saw was easy to assemble. Easy to start every time. Easy to climb with or handle to trim branches. Easy falls trees that fit to the bar. Really satisfied with this saw.

No problems assembling the bar and chain. Received a day earlier than promised and really couldn't tell it was reconditioned. Runs great plenty of rpm's chain was brand new in sealed bag so it cut excellent.

The saw itself is pretty good and it had no issues running, but on the website in the q&a section it says that it comes with a case, blade cover, 2 cycle oil, and bar and chain oil per ryobi official comment and it did not come with any of that. It was also said to have a sharpened chain per ryobi, this as well was not true. So yes it works, but if false advertising and breach of promise/trust gets you upset like it does to me then you should probably skip this one. If claims were true this would be a 5 star buy.

Chainsaw was in great reconditioned condition. Came with a new owners manual and all the tools you need. My only complaint is it does not come with a case.

Many mixed reviews but it has a warranty so I'll give it a try. I seen some came without a bar or a chain. I opened the box right at the counter and checked. I got a bar and a new chain in a Ryobi parts package. Mine was clean like new so off with it I went. I had a pretty good job ahead of me cutting up a large oak tree that had split and was already dying. Maybe it's just my climate but I didn't need nearly the priming and choking as the instructions suggest. Once I caught on to this it started with 2 or 3 pulls every time. About half a day for 8 days and it didn't let me down. The vibration isolation is a very nice feature. I did get a manual with mine and followed all the safe cutting suggestions. I don't run a chain saw for a living so I was careful. As for power it is only a 37cc (about 2.5 cu. in.) and it cut oak. Just for information I bought premixed fuel with no ethanol. Expensive yes but it ran great on that stuff and I just wanted to get that job done. I would say buy one as it does have a warranty and inspect it at pick up before you leave. Easily met my expectations.

I was hesitant about purchasing a reconditioned but figured I'd give one a try so as to be able to judge in the future. I've used it to cut several branches of an Elm tree in the yard and it works great. It started very easily, per directions, and was even easier to start while warm. There were no deviations from the choke, prime and pull directions. I've more trimming on the same tree to do and will add to this review if possible in the future!!!

Out of the box it's a bit doggy but as my title says California ruins everything. They have companies choke the life out of their products so they can pass some emissions law in a state the saw most likely won't be being used. Once out of box a tweak to the carb is a great help. I give it high rating because disappointed woodcutter was whining a little and nobody likes a whiner.

Good brand. Good saw for the money. Have a Husqvarna and this one is just as good if not better.

The chain saw was clean and was in good working condition. The instructions for use are on the saw. However, there was no cover for the blade and the saw did not come with a case.

Works like it's brand new can't tell it was ever used. I love my chainsaw

It's hard starting after I use it for a while. Have to use starting fluid to get it to start. Also, disappointed it didn't come with a case.

Starts good, light weight, good RPM's. Can't believe it didn't include a $3 chain guard.
