Nice design for raised bed watering
This Raised Bed Garden Drip Watering Kit by Rain Bird is an extremely complete kit. There are enough connectors and lengths of tubing to facilitate watering multiple raised beds of various sizes and dimensions. Setting it up is very straight forward and easy to do. I split mine to water my two section raised bed. It easily attaches to a standard hose or outside water outlet. I do wish it also included an adapter for attachment to a sprinkler head so I could use my well water and sprinkler system timer instead of having to run a hose to the raised beds

RAINBIRD DYI DRIP IRRIGATION
This RAINBIRD drip installation kit was easy to use, though the coiled up drip hose was fairly difficult to work with at the start, but remedied that by laying in the sun for a while, which made it more flexible - this RAINBIRD drip installation kit is ideal for the DIYer as it easily connects to your garden hose and you can form it and the routing to whatever plan or layout you desire - this eliminates the need to employ a specialist to install expensive drip irrigation - this RAINBIRD drip irrigation kit contains various tees, elbows, couplings, plugs, and stakes to use as you wish and accommodate various dimensions - fitting and conforming the tubing in whatever pattern of configuration your garden entails - this RAINBIRD drip irrigation kit will not only water your plants, but will help save on your water bill

Efficient with water and easy to use!
The Rain Bird raised garden kit is a nice starter kit for irrigation since it comes with a bit of everything and is very efficient with its use of water. I set it up in my greenhouse to water one of my raised shelves with plants in it. The kit was very easy to set up and use, I ran the emitter tubing through my shelves so it could drip onto the plants below. I'm looking forward to expanding this system and have some extra pieces from this kit I can use when I go to order more emitter tubing. The kit comes with a hose adapter that connects a normal garden hose to the irrigation system with one easy fitting. I'm very happy with it so far since it saves time and water.

First of all, I HIGHLY recommend this........
I have a Rain Bird irrigation system, which works spectacularly so this was the brand for me for a drip system for my strawberries. This was simple to put together. My suggestion is to map out what you want to do first. The barbed Tees, Elbows and Couplings fit tight, so tight if you make a mistake, it’s difficult to take apart without cutting the lines, that’s why you want to plan this out first. The plastic Emitter Tubing is easier to work with if you unwrap it early and put out in the sun to soften it up. I will be picking up more, it’s that good! Look no further, this is a great product.

No underground system needed
When I originally saw this I thought it was for an underground sprinkler system, but this hooks directly to your garden hose! You can use your imagination to set up your drip lines to best water your garden. No need to stand out in the heat to manually water anymore, just turn it on and let it go. I am still creating mine, and may add on with additional tubing for a larger area.

A complete Game Changer.
I don’t often throw the term “Game Changer” around lightly, but this product has been a Game Changer for us because it ensures that our vegetables get their regular watering when we’re not around for the day or week. I would latterly have to ask a neighbor to water my garden until I found this watering kit from Rain Birth. Now I must admit that I swap out some of the products in the kit with other Rain Bird products to give me a complete solution but It wouldn’t have been possible except for the creative people at Rain Birth. The pictures I have provided will show you how I pieced together products to give us water in all the right places at the right time with an add-on timer.

Drip watering saves time and conserves
I use ½ inch drip watering systems in beds surrounding my house and pool. I also use smaller diameter drips systems to water my garden and flowers. With the growing popularity of raised bed gardening, this kit is perfect to suit smaller irrigation needs. The supply and emitter tubing are ¼ inch diameter. The kit can be configured in many ways for one or several beds and provides effective irrigation for a total area of up to 32 sq ft. The kit comes with everything you need – 25 feet of distribution tubing and 35 feet of emitter tubing. The emitter tubing has emitters spaced evert six inches. To install, use the supplied pressure regulator to connect to a standard hose bib. Use the ¼ tubing adaptor and mesh screen to connect to the regulator and begin the supply line installation. When you reach the bed, use the supplied fittings to transition to emitter tubing or split the line to serve an additional area. The kit comes with 10 coupling, 10 elbow fittings, 10 tees, and 10 end plugs. All fitting have barbed ends to hold the tubing securely. Also included are 10 stakes to hold the tubing in place. I find that warming the tubing in the sun or hot water makes it easier to install the fittings. Use a utility knife or scissors to cut the tubing to length. Leave an open end to flush the system before first use, then install an end cap. It takes some trial an error to determine how long and how often to run the system depending on your climate and plant needs. Use touch or a moisture gauge to adjust. I have my system controlled from a hose bib that is tied to my irrigation system so I can control the zone on/off. You can add a hose end timer to automate the system, setting run times and frequencies. A very nice economical system to keep your plants happy, conserve water, and give you more free time.

Good starter kit
I really didn’t know what to expect with this irrigation kit. My original idea was for on the ground irrigation for my garden and even though it would work great in the ground garden I have decided best to use them on my elevated (3 feet off the ground) garden box for herbs. The tubing does need to sit out in the sun for a few days to get straighten out to better handle the tubing and place them in straight lines. The drip tubes and easy to cut to different sizes as needed and the water drips slowly as expected even with a 22PSI water. The Included PRESSURE REGULATOR does a great job in reducing the water pressure to the proper pressure for these tubes. I used a QUICK DISCONNECT from the regulator to my garden for easier use and everything matches up nicely. The CONNECTORS >> Included Be SURE YOU know where or what you want connected. Some of the connectors are NOT Easily removed if you mess up. To insert the connectors into the tubes does take some effort. I FOUND that using a pair of Pliers helped. One part of many of the connectors have a “handle” on them, so if the end you are trying to insert is too big, then that is most likely the “handle.” I guess that is there for easier handling and rest assure that end is plugged so no water will drip out of that “handle” OVERALL >>> This is really a great way to get started in a drip irrigation system and it is easily expandable to make the line runs longer or add other type of hoses and drip nozzles such as sprays nozzles and the like.

Great time saver
I wanted this for my raised planter in my backyard. The writer instructions are average. I think the diagrams are better myself. I like the letter labeling on the diagram. It makes it easy for me to see how it goes together. The tubing seems pretty easy for me to bend and place in the soil. The stakes are long enough to hold the tubing securely. I'm very happy with this kit. I gave me everything I needed to do my raised planter. I'm looking into an additional system for my flowerbed too.

Absolutely excellent item
Wow, this kit has everything needed for a raised bed garden drip system. I love drip systems as you water where the plant needs the water which is the root system. Plants grow better and you have much less weeds. Conserves a lot of water with a drip system. This system has everything needed for a 4’ x 8’ garden. Rain bird makes the best drip systems as they rarely have any negative issues. Quality product with easy to follow instructions.

Put water right where it's needed
When I'm not able to hand water my garden with rain water I've collected because I'm away I have to set up my automatic watering system. I used to use a lawn sprinkler, but because the leaves get wet, I was getting issues with burning and mildew. Then there was the issue with overspray that was needed to guarantee all my plants got watered. I was wasting a lot of water and causing damage. Drip irrigation fixes both of those issues. This system has almost everything you need to put the water right where you need it to go in your raised garden beds. The only things you need to add are a garden hose and a spigot timer. Set up is simple and the directions included are easy enough to follow. The only thing I would add is that it is easier to mate the hoses to emitters and connectors if you wet the barbed fittings first with a little water as lubrication.

Rain bird good
I’m in the process of setting up a 29” tall raised bed garden that is 7’ long and 4’ wide. I’ve been getting the soil/compost/organic material together for it so far and probably won’t get it put together in time to plant for this summer. I got this Rainbird raised bed irrigation system for a couple of reasons. 1)I wanted just the right amount of everything without having yards and yards of leftover tubing to store. 2) I’ve used Rainbird products in the past on other gardening and houseplant projects and I know the quality is good and it will be easy to use. The set comes with mapping ideas that I intend to follow (see photos)

Small kit
I have both raised beds and open garden that I use drip system on. This is a kit that will work well on a very small raised bed. It does have the basic stuff to get you started and will teach you how they work. I have found that it will use a lot less water than a conventional sprinkler setup. We are on a well and it has very low output but we are able to raise about 3000 square feet of garden using the drip system. This kit is based around 1/4” tubing. There is a screen filter, pressure regulator, hose to tubing adapter, tubing, emitter tubing and some miscellaneous connectors. Like I said real basic and small. If it proofs to work for you, it’s real easy to add to it. The first thing I would add is a filter (not a screen) and then from there, let your imagination be your guide. There is an amazing number of different devices available to use with the drip system. One thing that is missing is a back flow preventer. Depending on your faucet, you may want to add one.

Simple watering system
First time I'm trying a drip watering system. We currently have soaker hoses which I don't like. I temporarily set this up in my elevated bed to learn how to do it. Now I will actually install it in one of my raised beds. And then add on to it. It was simple to put together. You can configure however you want. It come with a 35 ft. emitter tubing and 25 ft. distribution tubing. Also it includes (5) 1/4 in. barbed fittings, (5) 1/4 in. elbow fittings, (10) 1/4 in. goof plugs, (10) 1/4 in. tubing stakes, (1) 1/4 in. adapter, (1) 25 psi regulator, and (1) filter washer. And it comes in a nice bucket so you can store your extra parts. I just used marked little baggies to separate the parts for easier finding. This set is good for garden up to 4 x 8 ft. You can also purchase a timer separately for ease of controlling. Looking forward to expanding this drip system!

RAIN BIRD GARDEN KIT
Rain Bird Raised Bed Garden Drip Watering Kit, Greens: I chose this product for my raised garden that I am mapping out to add to my back yard. I like this product because it provides everything needed for a drip irrigation kit. This kit will make my new vegetable garden very easy to water and maintain. The nice thing is that you can create your own design with all the fittings the way you like best. Rain Bird products have been around for a long time, so you know the quality is of the best that is out there. I cannot wait to set up my raised bed vegetable garden, and get this water system in place.

Great system
With this system, you can configure it to water in any way you need. I moved my garden this year so the raised beds are not set up in their final positions but will be next year, so this year, I used this system in my straw bed potato patch in a straight line run so I didnt have to cut any lines. Next year, I will change the layout, cutting the hoses and getting them in the new positions. It was easy to set up the straight line and next year with a few more cuts, additions of joints and the non-spraying hose, it should be easy to water my raised beds and work great. You could even use it on the ground. The water drips really well. I even have it hooked on after two regular soaker hoses and plenty of water came through. See the pics. My potatoes were suffering in this heat and this water system will make taking care of them much easier. It also comes in a nice plastic bucket that you can store everything in. I will be getting a couple more of these systems next year.

Nice starter system
Nice system to get you started and easy enough to add on to when and if needed. My wife has been enjoying gardening and with the hot South Carolina summers watering the plants is critical. We have this setup with 1/2 inch black plastic tubing and where needed we punch in and branch off. It is nice to finally have a bucket to keep all the parts in one place. It would be nice to have a divider type compartment so I would not have to dig through the bucket to find the one I am looking for. Also would make it easier to see which ones I am running low on for the next trip to the store. One recommendation, buy more goof plugs, makes it a no Brainer to change it around as the garden changes throughout the year. The people at rain bird need to learn how to count, got extra of the straight and only seven of the tee.

Rain Bird scores again !
The Rain Bird drip irrigation system is the easiest thing to install because everything you could possibly need is included in the bucket. I opened the bucket and unrolled the drip tubing and the supply tubing in the sun so it would lay flat to install later, all the fittings like elbows and tees I dumped in the tub for easy access, it was 108 degrees that day, so it didn't take long to make the tubing lay flat, I took the drip line tubing into the above ground boxes and laid it out close to each plant in the box, then you cut it off with scissors and attach your fittings. Next you attach your supply line to the black tubing and rout it to the faucet that you want to use. The package comes with a pressure reducer that you put on your hose bib and then connect your supply tubing to it. Everything is so well made that all this took five minutes to complete. I had plenty of drip line left so I stretched it out in two more of the boxes and connected it to the first supply line with tee's, another 5 minutes time. I have so many fittings left that I am going back to the Depot for more drip line and connect some more plants to it. I can just turn on the faucet and do something else while everything gets watered nice and slow.

Good set
I've been using drip irrigation for over 30 years. This is a good set to start with or add to our existing drip system in our current garden. With the emphasis on wise water usage, drip systems concentrate the water right at the base of the plant, with very little wasted water. This set has regular tubing to run emitters to plants, lots of connectors and emitters, and soaker tubing, which waters at set intervals along its length.

Worthless instructions and parts don’t fit
There are no instructions except a diagram of how you could set it up. The problem is the parts don’t fit and there’s no help with how to make them fit. I found a suggestion online but then it leaked all over the place. So much for “fits easily.” This product is a joke.

The overall product it good, but the instruction for installation lack a little direction. If there is an online computer aided design program that helps determine the number fittings needed, I didn’t find it.

I found it easier working with compared to the Orbit brand. However, the Orbit was considerably easier to connect to my hose. The instructions were vague and required a phone call to customer support. Rain Bird was over all a little easier to assemble.

    small garden kit
I ordered this kit and the extension kit, plus needed another 50 foot of drip irrigation. I have three raised beds with two irrigation drip hoses on each row. They are a little over 16' in length. I used a 75 foot hose to access my facet. This was easy to put together and I was able to use all the items plus some extra hose to use for a lemon tree that will be planted near the raised beds. All seems to work well and I look forward to having fresh vegetables soon.

This kit is definitely basic but definitely works. I needed something simple for our drought--the plants are loving it. It seems a little pricey for primarily lengths of tubing and a pressure regulator, but that's what drip irrigation is! I used landscape staples in a couple of spots to hold the drip tubing in place, definitely needs to be on more than the few minutes a week stated in the brochure.

      watering system
Rain Bird Raised Bed Garden Drip Watering Kit, Greens. A while back I got a four foot by four foot raised garden kit. This drip watering kit has all if not more of hose, fittings and the hose adapter for custom fit. It should save water yet give the proper amount for good growth. The instruction sheet almost has too much information, but it explains very well the proper use of it.
