Very quiet, not so efficient in moving air.

My sons installed the solar vent last week and I have noticed it is much cooler upstairs now. My only complaint is that the thermostat had to be rewired as it was not wired per diagram included in installation of.instructions. It did not initially work so they had to take it out and bring down off work to check out the reason why it wouldn't work and rewire it.

Works very well as long as there is sun. Easy to install and runs quiet. I bought a second one so that should tell you how much I like it.

It arrived earlier than planned. When I took out of box it only took five minutes on an overcast day to begin spinning. Roofer indicated it was easy to install. Could square foot coverage appear on outside of vent so inspector does not question coverage area.

Easy to install. Wish it came also with the electric cord in the box to use at night in the south. Summer nights here are often in the 90s. Winters are usually very humid too. So it’s been running pretty much everyday in the winter due to humidity. Which is what we want.

This solar attic fan was easy to test, easy to install and does what I hoped it would do. Our house stays noticeably cooler now that the fan is operating.

All of these should come with an adjustable solar panel. I ended up purchasing the model up with an adjustable solar panel and will use this one in my workshop on the side of the roof facing west even though the angle is not exactly how I want it.

So far it is working as expected. My only negative is that this solar panel has a narrow angle at which the sun can generate power for the fan. I do like the energy efficient concept and how quiet it runs.

was really bigger than I needed but I needed the extra solar board cord length. easy to install all the way around and does it's job well.

The combo thermostat and humidistat causes the fan to run non-stop. Temp set at 80 and humidity at 30%. Poor design settings.

It works. My attic is approximate 1,500 square feet. House is noticeably cool during the peak of summer. It has only been about a month. Still notice that outside air is a little cooler. I'll have to work on increasing the intake vents next. Plan your airflow so that the nature flow of the wind works for you.

I liked the quality of the components! A better instruction set or YouTube video specific to this system would have been desired. Overall, the Remington solar attic fan kit is a simple and effective way to keep your attic a bit cooler.

I purchased two of these with the 110 volt adapter, each one upon opening and testing the fan did not operate with the 110 volt adaptor while the thermostat was in a clsed detached garage on an eight five degree day. Even with the solar power it struggled and clicked and did not perform...

A little pricey but works really well and easy to install. I think for my 800sqft attic I may need a second one though.

The solar is not powerful enough to run this fan. Full sun on a 100 degree day and you plug the fan into the 110v adaptor instead of the solar panel, the fan nearly doubles its speed.

After reviewing several fans, I selected this one ,my store has to order it . It was fairly easy to install. The brackets for the solar panel and that setup needs improvement. You’re on the roof trying to assemble as you can’t put it together partially ahead of time. Remington, listen up. It does work as it says. It is very quiet and rpm changes according to sunlight.

Fan puts out much less cfm than the rating, barely exhausts a 420 sq foot area.

Came in perfect condition and as soon as the sun hit it, it begun to work. Let's hope it continuous working well for a long time.

Design doesn’t prevent rain and insects from entering when not in operation.
