Easy install and awesome

Best choice for the money replaced a 15 year old tankless

Our 65-Gal tank leaked. We got quotes for tankless. We opted to purchase this one as it was the ONLY tankless unit of any throughput avaialable in our area. (NW WA.) This tankless has been a problem from the start. Errors P1. Errors 88 (maintenance error.) We've had this tankless less than 4-months and we've been on the phone with Rheem at least that many times. Why would I need to run maintenance on a this within 90-days of buying the unit?

My old tank style water heater gave it up after 23 years. It was expected. I decided to go with this unit. Wasnt sure if it would be big enough or get hot enough. It gave me a little trouble at first with flow rate. The wondeful engineers put a filter in it for people like me that might use too much solder when brazing pipe. It caught all of it. I cleaned it out and it worked like a charm. They also make it easy to get past the 120 degree limit and I set it to 140. A little less pressure than the old tank style but workable. Absolutely love this thing. Great product and a fair price. Easy to install with a little plumbing knowledge. It also has the ability to add a second unit that ties together and acts like one unit. Definitly a plus and still on the table

Installation was straightforward and not that difficult. It worked flawlessly as soon as it was turned on! Much better than the one it replaced.

The unit I purchased was used. It still had water in the machine. I paid full price for a unit that was used and missing hardware.

Installed about 2 weeks ago. So far it's working like a charm. Takes a minute or so for hot water to reach faucet, but once it starts it never stops.

New unit causes all of the pipes in the house to rumble.

Even though I had a certified plumber do the installation, it appeared it was easy to install, after 3 weeks, I can honestlysay that I am very happy with my purhase.

The performance has been excellent. The installer did a nice job. I prefer the pvc venting over my old unit.

This system is a great Idea but didn’t meet my needs because it would have been to costly to install

We purchased this in 2015, we have had many issues over the years. Replaced the board 3 times and the last time we had to purchase the board from another company because Rheem didn’t have it in stock and we are still waiting on our warranty reimbursement for that. On top of that we are still having issues code 13, customer service is horrible and do not know what they are doing. They’ve sent flame rods, the wrong board, we purchased the correct board, the gas valve and now they are telling us it’s a flue issue and won’t cover under the warranty. I have had it with this company! We should’ve just spent the extra money and bought Rinnai

On demand and pretty much unlimited hot water. Love it.

Great water heater- this one replaced an older Rheem Prestige Series Tankless water heater, so it was basically a plug & play type installation. I must say the new one is much much quieter.
