All plastic. It’s not good on the butt. Need a softer seat. And it changes color when you owe on it. So no peeing on the seat. Unless you want a yellow mellow seat..

I sat on the toilet with the lid down and it felt like I would go right through. If you sit on it with the lid up the seat feels fine. I’m a rather small person so if a bigger butt sat on the top of the lid they might break it. Wish I would have bought something a bit more sturdy.

I sat on the lid and it collapsed....but came right back up.....I am not a big person....this should hold my weight if I sit on it

I purchased this seat along with two all wood ones. I did so to save money. I got what I paid for. The seat is quite flexible and as it's feet (?) are made of the same slippery plastic as the seat tend to move around on the toilet bowl under a load.
