Good brackets. Sturdy and they all fit good. I bought 30 of them and did not have any issues.

Great system, but they are tricky to install!
It was easy to install the tracks, but we ran into the same roadblock as others when trying to attach the brackets to the shelves. There is a deep space between the back mounting hole and the shelf so the screw won't stay straight. When we did finally get one screw into the shelf it pulled right out because it wasn't long enough. Then we finally discovered the trick is to ignore the back mounting holes and use just the front ones (with the screw placed at the closest point within the slot shaped opening). We used three brackets per 48" shelf and they feel very secure. We used the black finish and wish the screws matched or additional black covers were included to hide not just the ones that hold the tracks, but those that hold the brackets as well.

These brackets look really nice, but are challenging to install. After a great deal of frustration trying to attach them to the shelves through the back mounting hole where there is a deeper space between the hole and the shelf, we switched to the front mountain hole making installation much easier!

These are very good and sturdy. However, they were a little small for the Rubbermaid 12in x 36in Laminated wood shelf, which is the recommended option. The brackets are not flush with the wall but they are sturdy enough to hold weight so I'll give it 4 stars

Shelf mounting screws are too short at any angle
I’ve used these shelf brackets for years and like the wall tracks and brackets a lot.
But...this is the first time I’ve tried to screw the Rubbermaid particle board shelve to the brackets (they are in a room for my grandkids) and no matter what Rubbermaid says the supplied screws are too short.
At any angle the most the 2” screws project from the bracket is 1/4” this pulls out with little or no force. The next length wood or sheet metal screw available is 2 1/2”, this goes right through the shelf and sticks out the other side. I’ve spent 2 days looking for 2 1/4” screws and am now convinced they don’t exist.

Thanks for sharing your review of our Twin Track Hardware!
We apologize for any inconvenience that you've experienced. The screws in the Twin Track Bracket should not be installed at an angle. Per the assembly document each bracket will use (1) 2" screw and (1) 1.25" screw. The 2" is installed in the rear ant the 1.25" is installed in the front. We hope that this helps. Thanks for choosing Rubbermaid!

Works fine. But there is a sticker (barcode) on each individual one that stands out like a sore thumb and a pain to remove! It would be more preferable if it was located in a different area such as the under side.

Track is easy to hang, shelves are a pain
I've installed several of these shelving units around the house, and have always found the wall-mounted hardware to be easy to install and intuitive. However, I have always used the wire shelving in other locations, and the first project where I used the solid shelves were a pain. I found it to be extremely challenging getting the screws through the bracket and into the shelves, and once I finally did, they were seated so poorly that they promptly tore out of the bottom of the shelf.
I am extremely suspicious that the screw lengths that are recommended (2" and 1.25") are too short, given that they have to go in at an angle due to the shape of the bracket; I'm going to have to replace the shelf that got torn up tonight and will try some alternate length screws to see if I have more success.
I'm marking that I would recommend the product to a friend based on past experience, but I'm extremely skeptical about the design of these brackets/shelves

These brackets worked out beautifully. My only complaint is that the barcode sticker is sliced up diagonally which makes them a huge pain to peel off, especially when you're working with 20 or 30 brackets.

There are instructions, they're just hidden
Click on "Related Information" above. The message will say there aren't instructions for this product, but click on the link for the list of products that do have instructions. Then click on the link "Decorative shelving -- single and twin track." They are basic ones, but it also includes a list of screw sizes and lengths.

Easy installation.
I picked up the track, brackets and shelves. After marking where I wanted the track, temporarily screwing it to the wall, so I could mark all the faster locations. I easily install it by my self in less than an hour. Great product.

Rubbermaid shelf brackets
Rubbermaid went Chinese, metal is half as thick, it bends and buckets, screws pull right through metal channel.

Very good product
I don't get all of the whining about the lack of instructions. I'm not the most handy of people, but it's easy to figure out. It's easy to find brackets with holes in them to anchor the shelves to the brackets. The brackets hold a good bit of weight. I put both my kids (ages 8 & 4) on the shelf to make sure it would hold.

Excellent product
I don't understand the reviews complaining about the lack of instructions. The installation and usage of the Twin Track system is obvious. The twin tracks have round holes at each end and spaced across the length. This is where the screws go to mount them to the wall. Like anything, it's best to screw them into wall studs. If you can't find the studs or they're inconveniently located, use any of the many styles of drywall screws instead. The brackets clip easily onto the tracks. The shelves sit on the brackets.

Great Product
I needed a couple of shelves in my galley kitchen so decided on track shelving. When I purchased the tracks, I noticed the hardware package and decided to purchase it. I initially couldn't determine how the expanders were inserted and it was not described on the packet. Looked through the reviews to see if someone else had a solution. Found a comment by Rachael that described the solution. Fold the wings inward and insert into a 7/32 drilled hole. Worked perfectly and the tracks and shelves went up in no time at all.

horrible
My husband and I spent hours putting up twin tracks in my daughters room. We wanted a wall of shelves. We finally went to put the shelf on and realized that we could not secure the "wood" shelves to the brackets. Useless waste of time. We are removing everything and returning it all. Now I will have to putty and paint a whole wall.

great product, horrible instructions
So the picture for the hardware really doesn't explain what to do. You need to bend the anchor in on itself to form that point. I used a 7/32 drill bit to make the hole. Then worked the folded point of the anchor in a little by hand and hammered it in the rest of the way (you want it to be tight). You then proke the black piece into the hole to open up the anchor. You might need to hammer that a bit too but mostly i was able to push it in and hear the anchor pop open. Then just screw in the metal piece. Very easy once you figure it out! Why they couldn't tell you this somewhere i have no idea! !

I have browsed the internet for quite some time looking for instructions ... there isn't any on the site or on any of the packaging... I guess you have to KNOW someone that knows how to do this ... like an ancient Chinese legend passed down from generation to generation... EVEN SHAMPOO HAS INSTRUCTIONS ON IT!!!!

Inconvenient screw holes for fastening to shelf
Most brackets of this type have a way to fasten the self to it (so the shelf does not slide off and fall. Usually a screw hole near the tip. The screw holes for this bracket are really far back and require long screws. Weird ... not sure the advantage of that and certainly not as easy as it could be. No instructions included or online regarding this. The label peels off OK ... I went really slow.

Same problem removing labels.
I had the same problem removing the labels as everyone else. The hair dryer process did work, but we shouldn't have to go through that much trouble to remove labels, when we have quite a few to remove.

Not Easy To Install
The tracks were easy enough to install AFTER I bought some good drywall anchors that I could screw into the wall. The shelves are nice, and I was able to get the sticker off easily enough. However, the big problem I had was using the screws that are suppose to secure the bracket to the shelf. Both the long and short screw barely went into the shelf, and immediately came off. Right now we have the shelves just lying on the brackets until we figure out a way to permanently attache them.

Label Adhesive is ridiculoous
The amount of time and effort it takes to remove the labels is ridiculous. Even using the recommended heat/talc method recommended, it took an inordinate amount of time and effort. You need to do better.
