This product was shipped in a big box with a lot of broken styrofoam. The desk had some dings and chips in it, but it was easy to assemble and had an overall nice look. The knobs needed to be tightened and the unseen, inner parts seemed very "raw" (unsanded and semi-painted), but once everything is put together, it looks MUCH more refined. The drawers do not fit perfectly, but I guess this is because the entire unit seems to be "hand-crafted"--some may like that characteristic. I am overall happy with this product, but do worry that the lip will break off one day. It has a little bend to it now because I tend to rest my elbows on it, but I don't necessarily feel like it will break soon. As you use the extended desk top, you will find paint chips in your lap and on the ground from the painted hinges. The main reason why I bought this desk was because of the small space we had available. It certainly wasn't my first choice in a desk, but you will not find a better one at this size. After receiving the product, though, I feel like I spent far too much for it.

Perfect color and elegance.

The red is barn red with medium oak top surfaces. Packed well, just put legs on(remove all drawers 1st). Light weight but sturdy enough hold a small laptop in large drawer, however no track just 2 metal stoppers in back. Would have given 5 stars if large drawer was sturdier.

This desk is very nice looking, sturdy, small but functional. Great for organizing desk supplies. Arrived quickly and well packaged. Of note: 1) the six small top drawers can pull all the way out, there are no stops. 2) the hinged portion of the desk, if opened out, will not support much weight. Enough to support writing, but not enough to place heavy objects.

Built with wood and solid . Lots drawer space for organizing. small enough to fit in our bedroom. Good product, better than most small desk I researched.

The small desk fit the tight spot we bought it for, and so the dimensions were good. The desk was about 90% assembled. You finish assembly by bolting a unitized pair of legs to each side of the desk. Unpacking the desk took longer than bolting on the legs. So far, we like it.

This is a very sturdy high quality attractive desk. I have received so many compliments. It is perfect size for my laptop and is exactly what I was searching for. This purchase exceeded my expectations.

I was pleased with the packaging of the desk. However, when putting it together I noticed flaws in the furniture. One of the drawers had a corner repaired and not a very good repair job. One of the legs at the top was split by a screw. Overall, I was somewhat disappointed and would not recommend.

Desk is exactly what I wanted and was waiting for

Just the small narrow size needed to fit our space. Very happy with how much of the honey oak wood tops show from above. Glad that the very top (above drawers) is also honey oak! The oak parts of the desk are attractive wood grain and the painted red is opaque. I bought it for an inexpensive tie flying table. It comes well packaged in one large desk part and 2 side leg combinations that easily attach. Delivery was fast. I'd give it 5 stars, but the computer won't activate the rating's field.

This is a beautiful accent piece to any room. It is worth the money and super nice. But not really a desk..... A little to small and the pull down part of the desk is not strong enough for serious desk duties. It is also more red then cherry in color.
