Customer Reviews for SAFAVIEH Rag Rug Blue/Multi 10 ft. x 14 ft. Striped Area Rug

After opening the package I have to say I was quite surprised at just how busy the pattern was vs the listing photo. While the listing shows these sparse stripes of colour beautifully dotted around, the actual rug has these all over in every single stitch and the beige is a very dull colour vs the bright one seen in the listing photo. It's not horrible but really does differ from the listing photo and is a shame.

This rug (Ivory/Multi) had VERY noticeable Looney Tunes cartoon characters on one of the fabrics. It did not resemble the picture at all - it was much more saturated with color and printed fabrics. It was woven very nicely, but you could see that it was assembled out of old shirts or maybe fabrics that did not sell. Smelled strongly of mildew or moldy corn.

Great rug for the price. You will need rug pad underneath to prevent slipping. It doesn’t look or seem cheap and is easy to keep clean.

I ordered the aqua multi and the purple multi and fell in love with the aqua immediately. The colors are a lot more vivid than I was expecting, but perfect for my space. I know that you are not supposed to wash it, but I plan on throwing it in the washing machine at some point.

Beautiful beautiful rug. My gray carpet arrived with no red or blue in it. Which is exactly what i wanted. Th carpet smelled upon arriving. Left in cold garage outside to air out for two days. Still smelt. Didnt want to return but couldnt stand the smell of mildew in my bedroom. Attached photo of when I unpackaged.

I ordered two different rugs from this collection in order to arrive at the color family I wanted. For instance, the "rust/multi" rug was actually pink and red when it arrived, so back it went! This "gray/multi" rug actually has soft colors and more white woven into the design than the vibrant colors depicted in the photo. The quality is very nice, it lays flat, but it is definitely pastel/pale rather than bright. The fringe is a sort of gray, I guess, but I would call it taupe. I like this rug and I'm keeping it, but I would have LOVED it if it had really looked like this photo!

Great color, good price and it's washable! Works for me!!

The blue rag rug is a very pretty mixture of tones. It is woven of sturdy materials and stays flat on the floor. It gives the room a sense of warmth an brightness. No more feet on the cold floor while sitting on the couch! It is also soft to walk on. I haven't tried washing it yet but it is easy to pick up. It can work with different types of decor.

It was a great buy, and delivery!!

Beautiful rug with subtle colors. Looks nice with patchwork quilt in bedroom.

Had a horrible smell colors totally different I returned immediately

Nice quality, thick, looks great!

The loose weave makes it a hiding place for dirt and difficult to vacuum. Don’t let a Rumba run over it. The machine will get stuck and snag the rug….ask me how I know.

Good cheap rug, as expected. I have used these for years.

I bought it with AMERICAN SLIDE-STOP Premium All-Surface 10 ft. x 14 ft. Fiber and Rubber Backed Dual Surface Non-Slip Rug Pad SKU #1013679069 For us, it was the perfect size needed, good colors & price was right. However - note- this is a Rag Rug. So - sometimes parts of the rag need to be Re tucked or sewn back in or trimmed. Easy enough to do, especially if it meets your needs & desires. If you don’t want to bother with that occasionally- then don’t buy it. For me - it worked too well & I didn’t want a fraying remnant of a rug OR to have carpeting installed over beautiful hardwood. Also other area rugs that had finished sides were too small.

This is a very pretty and colorful rag rug. It’s very well made

Rug is easily torn up by cat and child

The rug seems to be well made and was hipped in good packaging to protect it.

It's the rug I wanted and it's good.

I ordered 4. 8x8 rugs and they are all a totally different size only one of the four has 2 sides that are 8ft most are shorter around 7x7 Nice color and quality matches the cost

Very pleased with the quality of the rag rug. Great value for the price.

This rug was already unraveling before I even got it. Don’t buy if you have pets

It's fine- not the easiest to clean but get's the job done. Wouldn't buy again- would opt for a machine washable rug that's easier to clean with kids/dogs/chaos
