I have been using this product for years. Like it very much.

Our walls were nasty due to an old pellet stove that blew out dust. I almost feel we may not have to paint! 2 tbsp per gallon is working nicely. One wall at a time. I do have to mention that it works more easily on eggshell/semi gloss than on flat paint.

I discovered this product in 1972. It's still amazing for painted walls.

Very good product took the chalk off the old paint before applying new paint

Dirtex does not need to be rinsed off. It returned the wall paint to its original color. A fresh coat of the same color was indistinguishable from the freshly cleaned ten year old paint.

I expected Dirtex to clean better than it did. It took long time to react with surface and lots of rubbing, washing walls with the product. Its priced high and I felt it would perform better than it did. Rate it as fair.......................

DIRTEX does just what it says it will do. I cleaned three couches with it. One of the couches was beige with 20 year old stains on it, now it looks like new. What a difference! Plus there is no after smell, no water stains; since you only use 2 teaspoons to one gallon of water. So little does so much! Not only does it work on fabric, it works on floors (linoleum), wood (baseboards, dusty shutters) and other painted surfaces without harming the paint. It also got all the gunk and hard water stains from my shower doors. This product is fantastic! I couldn't be happier, my house is clean and fresh. This is the product you need for getting your house ready for the holidays, spring cleaning or just cleaning in general. A GREAT buy, worth every penny!

Love this stuff. It is great for cutting grease when cleaning the screens for the stove fan. Absolutely the best for removing wallpaper. Make sure the strength is strong enough with very hot water. Sponge on the paper, let it soak and then start from a seam with a scraper. Better than TSP.

Have been using dirtex for many years, that is the reason I had to special order it as you can no longer walk into the store purchase it and walk out. Dirtex is excellent for refreshing painted surfaces. Have also used it on floors. Dirtex is mild enough to use with gloves. No need to rinse a after using it.

At 88 years old, owned a hardware store and a painting crew, this is the only product we used and sold. Nothing comes close.
