It leaked after 20 months from the circulation pump. Pretty quiet when running but then noisy during drying.

In our 6th home since we’ve been married and by far this is the worse dishwasher we’ve ever owned. We can only use liquid dishwasher soap and it doesn’t dry the dishes. We’ve only had it since October and we regret going with this unit.

dishes come out dirtier than when you put them in. glasses come out covered in dried food particles. the jets get easily clogged. and all this after thoroughly rinsing the dishes every time before loading them. i went through the troubleshooting guide and it didn't help. i have to hand wash the dishes after running them in this piece of junk.

Bought a Whirlpool, the wrong one was delivered, this one was dropped off and it broke in the first hour on the first run. So now I have been half a month without a dishwasher or my money. The dishwasher is also 2 inches too short for the space so it not only runs poorly it looks awful too.

Looks good. Runs quite. Cleans well. Husband installed and I helped. Holds pots and pans well along with dishes and cups. Beautiful stainless steel tub and Stainless Steel exterior. No complaints here. Love the product. We have had this dishwasher since March of 2018 and have had no problems with it so far.

Feels cheap compared to my 15 year old Whirlpool. It takes longer to get through cycles and at the end, dishes are far from dry. Don't waste your money and fix your old dishwasher.

I bought this dishwasher about a year ago and have been disappointed In it ever since and it just keeps getting worse even after I run the clean cycle the inside of the dishwasher is still dirty and so are my dishes

I had a terrible experience with Samsung Customer Service. The dishwasher that I bought on 11/4/17 and professionally installed on 11/17/17 was defective. The upper rack got stuck after the first usage. I contacted more than 20 times the Samsung Support customer service by telephone, online chatting, email, without getting their intervention for repairing the defective rack. Finally, after writing a complaint to the President Email Office, I got a call from Samsung to set an appointment for a home repair on 1/5/18. The technician called to confirm the appointment but never showed up. After almost two months of continued contacts with Samsung which costed me more than 24 hours time, I am still with a defective machine! I understand that I am not the only one to have had a negative experience with Samsung. I would recommend to stay away from any Samsung product. If they are defective you know what you are going through. An additional note. I also contacted Home Depot about the defective machine and I have to say that they took the time to advocate on my behalf with Samsung, as the machine comes with one year warranty. But this attempt was also useless.

Simple, straightforward controls and it cleans dishes and pans very well. The Samsung is very quiet while washing. The stainless steel interior also stays clean unlike other dishwashers I have had. Things I might improve: 1) Put a light on the front to show dishes inside are clean. It has a quiet ding to alert me that the cycle is complete and it will repeat later, but I'm often not nearby to hear the sound and other family members might put dirty dishes in not knowing the inside is clean. 2) When installing the dishwasher I connected it to a direct power line. The power attachment box is on the front of the machine requiring a longer power line than my previous machine. It required extra work to install the Samsung.

This dishwasher was easy to install, looks nice both inside and out and is fairly quiet. As far as the functionality and quality however it is a bit lacking. During the third washing cycle one of the wheels fell off the rolling racks. The door on the utensil tray has disconnected twice and quite frankly, the dishes aren't all that clean (not as clean as the unit we had previously). I have tried different detergents, rinse aids, heavy cycles, sanitized feature and at the end I end up with wet, semi-dirty dishes. On a side note, since I can't always tell if the dishes have been washed, it would be nice to have a light on the front panel showing that the wash was complete and the dishes were clean.

Had to buy an adapter for a couple bucks at the hardware store then I installed it with no problems. Seems to clean better than the 1990's model that I was using. Stainless front panel looks good.

Worthless machine that leaves your dishes dirtier than when they went in. Samsung refuses to do anything about it because the machine isn't showing an error code so we've already had 2 tech visits (1 more scheduled) and over 5 calls with customer service. They literally told me that just because the machine isn't doing its job doesn't mean that it is defective. Save your money and believe the reviews off of here.

Hi, We have had this dishwasher for almost 3 months. It doesn't clean well at all. I have tried every setting. I thought it was user error, but my husband and I have both tried many settings and the closest to clean we can get is on Heavy/Sanitize mode. Even that isn't clean. The pictures below are from that cycle. The dishes are still warm and they look like this! I will be calling the company after this review I am very upset.

This is the best dish washer. I had Bosh, whirlpool and GE before, but none of them matches quality and durability with Samsung product. Two thumbs up!! Beautiful design !! I have other Samsung products such as range, oven, washer, dryer and refrigerator. They are solid and high quality. Washer and dryer are over 15 years and I didn't have any single problems. GE and Whirlpool refrigerator I had before caused few problems and I ended up selling them on e bay for cheap price. I am going to replace my Vizio to Samsung 4K TV soon... Highly recommend any Samsung products.

Awful, can't believe appliance guy recommended this product. (FYI. I've been running the unit for 8 months) 1. Dishes are never fully clean (see images). 2. Dishes never dry; also dishwasher is perpetually wet (now starting to smell). 3. Grates for loading dishwasher are awkward/useless. (especially if you know how to load a dishwasher). 4. Unit is VERY low to ground; if you have a bad back or mobility issues this may not be for you. Helpful advise: Only things i can see that will possibly help with wetness is to leave the dishwasher open after cycle (which is IMPOSSIBLE with a toddler). If you are researching dishwashers DO NOT get a stainless steel tub!!! Get a plastic one with a heating element (i know its supposed to be "less-efficient" but when you can only put in half the dishes of its capacity OR you have to rewash everything; efficiency starts to not matter. Samsung is such a terrible company where you find their defective appliances the least to concern about when it comes to refund process. I had to send my refund documentations to 4 different email addresses, and I was literally on call with agents over 15 hours, and almost every time you feel like you have to start the process completely from the beginning. Finally, they refused to refund me after 3 months of frustration because their defective dishwasher was hauled away by delivery company when we bought our new Maytag dishwasher, and we could not provide picture of recap! Storyline one should expect when dealing with Samsung: -Dec 2016: Bought brand-new dishwasher (Model DW80J3020UW) -May 2017: They agreed to start refund after 3 service visits in our place, and they could not fix it -June 7th 2017: Documents submitted on phone and ticket was issued. Expected timeline for approval: 7-10 business days Have to send my document 2 more times, before they confirmed it has been received -June 27 2017, They told me the refund process has just been submitted! Called them 5-7 times to follow-up the process. -July 13, 2017: Got an email asking for more documents, one of them is the picture of recap. I told them the unit has been hauled away by Home Depot, and nobody advised us to get a hold of the unit. -July 14, 2017: an agent in refunds department advised me to send hauling away receipt to show that the unit is not with me anymore. I sent this to them. Had to send my new documents 4 more times, to email addresses refunds, snaecer_ag33@, anaecer_ag37@, anaecer_ag64@, refunds@ (Yes, again!), and every time they told me we have not received any document from you. I had to talk to more than 10 agents and 4 supervisors and stay on line for more than 8 hours during this time for simple issues such as delivery of my documents by email. -Aug 1, 2017: an agent in refunds department told me unfortunately we cannot refund you because you don't have the picture of recap. In the month of August, I reached out to Home Depot to share my story with them, and 3 agents tried to settle the case with Samsung, on 3 different days, and I had to spend at least 10 more hours on phone or in store. Samsung didn't do anything to refund. Near end of August, Home Depot refunded me as my point of purchase. I cannot be frustrated more with a company. I won't buy anything from Samsung again, and I discourage any business with this company.

I spent a lot of time researching dishwashers and was hesitant at first because this one was inexpensive to others like it. We have been using this for a little over a month now and I have to say that I am not disappointed! This is so quiet and dishes come out super clean and without spots. There is a lot of room inside, both top and bottom. I do not like that the top rack is not adjustable but there is a lot of room so it is not much of an issue. I would definitely recommend this dishwasher!

Replaced an older unit that was original to the home from 1996. I really wanted to get away from exposed heating elements and this machine provided that and much more. The adjustable racks, 3 spray arms, larger capacity, and removable silverware bins makes this machine fantastic. I'm OK with the longer wash time if it means less water usage, we don't typically sit and wait for a fork to be clean. One thing I would recommend is to USE the jet dry/rinse aid on this unit. Once we started topping that off and setting it to 2 (allows 1-4) everything comes out spotless and dry, even plastic! We go through a lot of tupperware from lunches and stored meals so it was nice to find out how much that little bottle makes a difference. We also use Cascade Complete gel packs, but all in all have loved this machine. I did the install myself, not worth $100+ for someone to connect some hose and wire, I'd give it a 2 on the DIY scale. While removing the old unit for takeaway I did update the shutoff to a shark 1/4 turn valve and new braided hose. This unit provides an easy set of tunnels for the water and electrical which helps with the insulating properties I'm sure. Speaking of, it is very quiet. We have an extremely open floor plan and there are times I have to check the lights on the front to see if it is on and even then I touch it occasionally to make sure. Also it has a nifty child lock feature to keep the prying fingers from turning it on and playing with the cycles while it is in use. Again a great unit for the price and far beyond what competitors offered in similar range, many of the units available look to be 10 years old already from Maytag, GE, etc.

Do not buy this machine. It does not dry your dishes. Had I known in advance it does not have a drying element I would have ran from it. It is a Petri dish because it does not empty all the water out you leave the door closed it will grow mold.

This is the first Dishwasher that I have own, just having my kitchen redone, I read were you some have one. Boy am I glad, this was not like me, being a Single guy to let the dish stack up, but know I do. I can wait a few day, just put the Dishes in, and My Samsung Dishwasher does the rest. What is really nice is that you don't even hear it running, its is amazing. I only thing that I might change on this, is when you open it, a light would be nice

So far, so good. Deivery team did a great job in ice and snow. Installer arrived promptly and hauled the old one off. Easy to use, exceptionally quiet.

We have had it for about a month. It was easy to install, and so far it is working fine. Delivery was on time and no issues to complain about.

Before you buy this product, make sure to measure how long your electical cord has to be. They recommend a cord, but it was too short. It is only about 5' 4" long. I needed about a 9' run. I had to return it and make one myself. If it wasnt for this, I would have rated this a 5 star. This unit is very quiet when running. It washes fantastic!

This dishwasher does not clean well, does not dry well, and unbelievably the entire machine is held up by one tiny piece of plastic that will fail on you, and Samsung won't repair it. Unlike almost every other machine, this machine has plastic leveling feet [instead of metal]. The plastic leveling feet screw into the bottom of the machine and are supported by one tiny piece of plastic. When ours broke Samsung made it very clear very quickly that they had zero intention of honoring their warranty, even though we were still within the warranty period by about two weeks. Some of the more memorable excuses we were given were: "well, the warranty period is almost over, and Samsung doesn't like to do repairs when the warranty is almost up," and "leveling feet are cosmetic, and we don't cover cosmetic damage." They refused to repair the machine. No more Samsung products for us after this experience.

After researching online for awhile I decided the Samsung was best for me due to value (good price) and reviews (both professional and online). I removed the old dishwasher and managed the installation myself, and it was surprisingly easy. One feature it does not have is an electric drying coil. That wasn't a problem for me, as I always prefer to air dry, but it might bother some. Otherwise I am very happy with the machine. It works well and is extremely quiet. All in all, it's well worth buying.

The dishwasher is beautiful inside and out. But, unfortunately, what they don't tell you is that this dishwasher does not dry your dishes. It has an air dry system, which I thought was fantastic, until I realized after the first wash, that air dry means you must open the door after the cycle is finished to let the dishwasher dry out. Samsung recommends using a drying agent and leaving the door ajar for a while. There is water standing in the door and along the edges after the cycle is complete and everything is still wet. And guess what...no one cares.

I have been looking at dishwashers for quite some time, but wasn't comfortable spending that much money on one, until I found this Samsung. I've always been a fan of Samsung products, and when this one went on sale, I couldn't pass it up. The first time we used it, I thought my son forgot to turn it on. It is so quiet!! The only reason I know it's running at all is because of the little music it plays when you start it and when it ends. My most favorite feature of this dishwasher, aside from how quiet it is, would have to be the ability to adjust the top shelf higher. My plates are larger than the average plate, and in my old dishwasher I had to arrange them very differently, and wasn't able to wash as many as I should have been able to...but not in this one! They even have extra room with the shelf adjusted!

It's only been a couple of months, but so far it has been worth every penny!! Awesome deal & it cleans & dries extremely well! We saved money on the installation by doing it ourselves & it really wasn't complicated at all.

So glad to finally have dishwasher again. And were able to get it in black to match the fridge and sink.
