The Serta Agustus Sleeper Convertible Sofa Bed is amazing. It is Definitely Firm, but well constructed and a breeze to assemble. The fabric is easy to maintain, the transition from sofa to sleeper is well-engineered 'magic,' AND it fits in the small space available in my guest room. I highly recommend!

No assembly, just slide on the side arms and it’s ready to use. It’s plenty of room for two sleepers - but very firm. I plan to get a mattress topper. It’s compact too and the fabric is more blue than grey. We are happy with it!

If you have high blood pressure issues this bed may cause a stroke. The back of the couch lays down. However it is at a slant downwards and the distribution of weights make it worse. I bought the warranty but it doesn't fix anything that isn't broken. Meaning it's made this way. It's expensive and not functioning as a bed would. I stack pillows to make up the difference. That being said during the night they manage to move and I wake up with a numb head and more. It's been exhausting.

So I waited a while to write a review on this sofa convertible bed. This item was delivered within 2 week and half after the order was placed. At first the item seems to be in good condition and setup was fairly easy, the name Serta felt was a trusted name but boy was I wrong, after 2-3 months in we noticed the top of the head of sofa which lay flat when in a laying position is started to sink in with in 3 weeks from there the other section of the sofa doing the same gotten so uncomfortable to sit or lay on you can feel the framing of the bed hurting your body. It’s up setting that I paid that much for a sofa that less than a year it’s garbage and my money went to trash. Looks can be deceiving following the comments of this sofa bed is the reason why I purchased it. I’m highly upset because I didn’t get what my money worth and felt misled on buying this sofa.

Good quality. Firmer than I expected it to be, so had to use a pillow topper to complement the support of the couch with some softness.

Using daily as replacement for beautiful soft leather love seat in my den. Daughter moved back in via COVID-19 loss of job using for couple weeks as her bed every night. First very solid, firm mattress pulls out easily for nice large queen size bed. Feels great for multiple adults but we added a mattress topper to soften firm support that makes it absolutely a comfortable solid bed to sleep in nightly. Very easy to pull out and replace back in and is better built then many of the standard pull out couches that generally have a somewhat flimsy metal spring mattress support. The more expensive $1,600 to $2,000 range memory foam could compete for comfort and support? So at this price serves our purpose as position in my den works perfect with accurate dimensions. The pull up back when in sleeping position is great for reading, laptop/tablet and watching TV. The upholstery material is nice but not like the luxurious soft leather premium 60" love seat it replaced. I use the couch daily as a break from my desk and me and my wife often have coffee in mourning together and reading totally enjoy and glad we made this purchase.

Great form factor that transforms into a full queen bed!

I bought this convertible sofa 8 months ago. The pull out bed is comfortable enough if you like a firm mattress, but the back of the sofa, when sitting up, is not very sturdy and would be broken by now if we hadn’t pushed it up against the wall. The sofa sits too tall to be comfortable (I’m 5’-10”) and the seat slopes slightly forward. I had thought this would improve over time, but after several months of using the sofa, I still have to brace myself to keep from sliding forward. Also, the fabric covers on the buttons started coming off.

I purchased this Sept 2020 because it was on sale and had over 100 great reviews on this site. The sofa back operates like a futon. Without knowing the specific part names, the parts that moves and locks the sofa back in place failed after 3 months, in Dec 2020. My teenage son was sitting in the sofa playing video games and the sofa back fell flat. I was sitting 3 feet away when it happened. The sofa back would no longer stay up, making it unusable as a sofa. The sofa was lightly used only by my son (150 lbs) and daughter (90 lbs). We used it only as a sofa and never had the opportunity to use it as a bed. Home Depot accepted the sofa for return and refunded the purchase. I found one other review on here with the same complaint/issue.

This couch was so much more than I expected. It is super comfy and easy to change from bed to couch. The color is perfect. The material is soft and inviting, yet sturdy and stands up to my boxers mischief.

This lounge couch did not disappoint!! I didn't sit on before purchase, bought online, and I couldn't be happier. Comfortable t sit, and sleep. The couch I pretty big, me feet don't Touch the floor. Great purchase!!

This sleeper sofa has exceeded our expectations! It looks great and is very comfortable to sit on. The foam is quite firm, but not hard. That being said, we did purchase a 1.5” memory foam mattress topper to increase the comfort level when we open it out for our guests to sleep on. My sister-in-law has already slept on it and gave it high marks for comfort and support. It is a very substantial piece of furniture - nothing flimsy about this one! We are exceptionally please with this purchase!

It was easy to put together and looks good. It has a hint of slate blue/gray in some light (it's a nice neutral color). It is easy to pull the bed up and out. We added sliders under the feet to make it easer to pull away from the wall when we want it fully extended. We also leave the back leaning against the wall because if locked in place it is very straight and less comfortable. We are using it as a guest bed in a home office. It is significantly more comfortable and stable than an old school pull out with the bar in the back. I will be adding a memory foam for someone to sleep on as it is stiff. It was a great cost effective add for a spare room where you don't want another bed and you don't want to spend a fortune on a similar model from a fancy furniture store.

Converts to a comfortable sleeping arrangement with no dips or sags. Perfect size for our small house.
