This is exactly what I was looking for. I decided to grout it to make it look like tiles and I wanted more protection from water. I did use a premixed grout that is for vinyl and also presealed and good for showers called Mapei CQ. With this you have to clean up after grouting a 3x3 section because it hardens fast. This hopefully makes the floor waterproof in the seams. I have never done a floor and I was definitely scared. It came out beautiful. My only complaints was that there are already some scratches from my large dog running around and even though I used furniture coasters to move appliances they kept falling off and theres some scrathes. They are superficial and not noticeable to company but I was upset. Also the sample sent was definitely different color and had more deep grooves. Fortunately I liked the color of the actual floor better but the sample mislead because it was more durable when I tested scraches on it. The color is more of home depots online color than the sample sent.

Really easy to lay. Looks great. Rolled on adhesive and trimmed with a razor knife. This is the floor in a prefab shed that will be a workspace. No complaints.

these floor is very thin may sure your floor are flat and leveled. Had hard time starting putting the floors down but I think that it was because we weren't sure how much glue to use. Cutting the floors we used a big floor cutting tool if you do it by hand the back pad is very hard to cut. Overall floor look great my son thought is was real wood and it does.

Floor is great with one exception. Out of the 7 patterns that come in the boxes 2 of the patterns show up 3 times as much as the others. If you care about keeping the patterns from repeating too often I would recommend adding 20% extra to you count. In the picture the 2 stacks behind the other piles are all the extras of the 2 patterns I set aside to avoid repeating patterns too often.

I purchased this flooring about three months ago and finally had it professionally installed. I used an underlayment on a concrete slab in my basement which had some water issues until I got a sump pump installed. The flooring took about 4 hours to do lay down with the underlayment (about 530 SQ feet) and glue and took about 3 days to completely dry. It looks very nice on the floor, with the underlayment it made it soft to step on and gave an extra layer of protection between the slab and the flooring b/c moisture can creep up thru your slab very minimally. I am very impressed and pleased with my purchase.

Our home was built in 1959 and was used mostly as a summer retreat. The existing wood has many dings and gouges. Bondo makes a great filler to level out the substrate. A rubber roller works great to press the laminate down onto the adhesive. If you press along the vinyl it develops a surface tension and snaps back. This effect is small, but could lead to gaps in the flooring that would make both the flooring and the installer look less professional than they are.

Luxury Vviyl plank flooring is an awesome invention - it gives a nice wood finish, yet it's 100% waterproof. There are certain areas where this product makes a lot of sense. We use it in the kitchen, hallway, bathroom and laundry room. Anywhere where water is going to be present. Installation: This is not our first attempt at installing Luxury Vinyl plank flooring. I've done it two other times, so I'm getting much better at it. The pros - super easy to trim, lays nice and flat and installation goes fast. The cons - the glue is super messy, any damage to the subfloor shows through and it's easy to get things off square (edges are not parallel to the wall). The method I use is - I first make sure the sub floor is good - no divots and flat. I start at a doorway, then cut the pieces and lay them out. When i get to the edges, I carefully cut them to size and lay them on the floor. After all the pieces are cut, I go back to the doorway and pull a few rows of planks. I then put the glue on the floor and use a trowel with short "v" shaped notches. I then let the glue dry until it's no longer tacky, then I carefully lay the plank and push it in place. Then I do the next plank until I'm at the edge of the glued area. I then pull more planks and do the same until the floor is done. How does it look: I don't think many will confuse it for real wood. Yes, the planks have grain and a nice pattern printed, but it's definitely not wood. I will say that it looks good and it makes the room look good. I posted pictures of the vinyl flooring near the cabinets and appliances. It definitely looks much better than the old flooring. My rating. I love this stuff, so it gets a 5 star. Appearance is really nice, but please know that it's not like a real wood floor. Quality is good and it feels like it'll last a long time. Ease of installation is 3 of 5, because of the messy glue and waiting for the glue to "dry" before laying the planks. I highly recommend this Luxury Vinyl plank flooring!

This is a nice product that is not only good for floors, But as you can see in the pic below It can be used for a wall decoration as well. In my RV the walls are covered with 1/4 inch lauan plywood. I decided to put this up using Roberts 2057 VCT adhesive(from Home Depot). It will cover the walls well and will add an extra layer of protection and insulation. Easy to cut with a razor knife and a straight edge, an easy DIY project for any level of skill. Whether your using it on a wall or floor it works well and adds protection. Looks great and easy to do...

We needed to update the flooring in our mudroom. It had original red oak flooring from the 1950s and we were reluctant to replace it with a vinyl product. However once we saw this product and reviewed its durability, we were sold. It was easy to put down with mastic and it looks amazing. I took the pictures of the floor during the layout. It is much more weather resistant than the old wood flooring and my wife loves it. Install note: Most strips have a light side and a dark side running the length of the strip. It's critical to match the dark sides to the next panel. It looks amazing and the spaces between the strips completely disappear!

The flooring pattern is varied so this gives you a few options on how to layout your pattern. We used this in our laundry room since the floor drain is lower than the other parts of the floor, the 6 ml thin floor contoured easily down the grade. Installation is really simple. If you have done any other time of laminate or floating floor, you start out the same. We used a quarter gallon of adhesive for our laundry, roughly 80 sq ft. The finish seems to be okay, but time will tell if it lasts.

Vinyl flooring gets a bad rap, but this flooring is seriously very good looking in my opinion. The colors and tones and wood grain variations are well done. I was very excited to get this installed and upgrade the look of my entry and bathroom. It does have a texture to it that is only so-so, more of a uniform texture across the width, rather than a texture that matches the grain pattern. I feel that this is being overly critical of the flooring, as it is vinyl flooring and you cannot expect too much from it. The sheen is good, not very much different than the sheen on our wood floors. Installation could not be much easier, if you have even the basic skills and tools and patience. Overall, I highly recommend this flooring. It is a great value.

Recently received this vinyl plank flooring as part of HD product review program. Having no experience with this type of floor covering and reading the online description, I figured I could handle an installation by myself. Upon opening/inspection of the planks, I'm actually pleased with this. Has a nice feel and texture to it, not flimsy at all. This will be perfect for a rental unit that is soon to be vacant and in need of a 'face lift.' So far, it meets expectations quality and price point wise. Waterproof, pet proof, kid proof! What's not to like? How this will hold up in the long haul time will tell, of course.

Shaw Inspiration glue down vinyl plank flooring in Forest will look good in my bedroom! The vinyl flooring is wonderful! I have a cat, even though she is litter box trained, she has fur balls on occasion and they are hard to clean up on carpet! You can clean the vinyl with bleach and water! Carpet does not do well with bleach, AND you can get in the corners!!! I can hardly wait until I have in the rest of the house!

Shaw Inspiration 6 mil. glue down vinyl plank flooring in green will look good in my office! The vinyl flooring is wonderful! Pets, muddy shoes, and messes are a snap to clean up!! I have a cat, even though she is litter box trained, she has fur balls on occasion and they are hard to clean up on carpet! You can clean up with bleach and water! Carpet does not do well with bleach, AND you can get along the walls and in the corners!!!

Shaw Inspiration Forest glue down vinyl plank looks pretty amazing. The 6 x 48 inch format is easy to work with and the raised/embossed wood grain finish looks amazing. These are 6 mil planks and are flexible and easy to cut to size. Score and snap with a sharp utility knife. I am in the middle of redoing my entrance room / mudroom that used to be carpeted over concrete. Needless to say, it gets grimy as both me and the dog drag in who knows what from the outside as this is the country! Carpet's gotta go! I needed flooring that's rugged and will hold up to mud/snow/grime and is easy to clean. Tile and/or vinyl planking's the only way to go!

This is a review of he Shaw Inspiration 12 mil Meadowland 6 in. X 48 in. Glue down vinyl plank flooring (53.93 sq. ft/case). The planking is 2 MM thick which equates to about 5/64 of an inch, just a little over 1/8”. These vinyl planks really do look like wood, these being 100% waterproof was a big selling point. These planks are much thinner than wood flooring, I included some pictures to show the dimensions. 6” X 48” makes it easy to see the coverage of each plank and the total coverage. Each box contains 27 planks and each are very close to 2 Square feet each (The math works out to 1.997 square feet per piece). I am mixing 2 different styles of the Inspiration 12 line, so they will integrate very nicely. I have included some pictures showing how we can mix these 2 styles together. These planks are glued just as linoleum flooringing is. If you are planning on gluing directly on a concrete floor, some leveling might be useful or adding a wood subfloor, since these planks are thinner than wood boards. Some advantages of laying down these planks are: 1) The planks are glued down one piece at a time and not as one giant piece making it easier to manage 2) With these planks you apply the glue to the sub flooring in small manageable sections 3) Planks are designed to not show any seams. 4) linoleum comes is 12 foot width pieces and my floor will be 18 feet wide, thus having a need for a seem near the center of the room 5) I have done several linoleum floors and twice I had to do it by myself and each time I struggled to get the bubbles out. 6) Gluing one piece at a time it is much easier to work any bubbles out. Bubbles can be formed from spots with too much glue or an air pocket. With these planks you avoid these challenges. Unlike wood, each of these planks are flexible, thin and pretty light weight. They do make a night waterproof floor.

Very poor,we have an issue with a costmers because its not like the pictures in the reality!! Also the glue that recommended is totally wrong!!!

The flooring is nice for the price. It was an easy install. Its only flaw is that the product seems slightly cheap looking. The depth of color and texture is not as rich as some other vinyl flooring. I should have bought more expensive flooring. My bad...not the product.
