This breaker is both Arc Fault and GFCI protection for the circuit. I needed GFCI for my detached garage build but was not required to use Arc Fault. I could not locate just GFCI breakers and chose to add the Arc Fault protection to the circuit. These us what is called a clamp on neutral and makes the install very clean as you attach both the black (hot) and white (common) wire to the breaker rather than having a breaker with a white pig tail that takes up more room in your breaker box.

Multiple price break
Watching these for a while it showed a good price break on Multiple 6&9 pack but showed backorder, now shows you can get them but price is way over single price on 6 or 9 multiple pack seems to me Home Depot does not want my business or there pricing manager needs to take a math class on percentage profits

These are junk, unfortunately you have to have them to meet code. Someone is making a ton of money off people, there is nothing wrong with GFCI outlets and a simple breaker

Perfect Replacement
Replaced the same model of arc-fault breaker used for past 5 years on the 20-amp circuit for our new (at the time) refrigerator. Hoping the problem was the breaker and not the fridge, I bought this replacement breaker. The problem seems to be the fridge. Opening the french-style doors will trip the breaker 90% of the time. Service technician is coming in two days to trouble-shoot our $4K Bertazzoni fridge. The breaker was easy to replace and seems to do its job (yes, I tested the circuit with the fridge unplugged).
