This vanity top is pretty much what I expected. The term "Solid Surface" can make most people think of countertop manufacturers that can create a stone-like, granite-look piece. This vanity top is lightweight and not 100% "solid". The underside is grooved with wide gaps throughout. There is enough area to adhere to your vanity cabinet. As I said, it is very lightweight. Easily carried by one person if the length wasn't an issue. Yes, the top is matte finish. There isn't any gloss as most people are used to on a vanity top. The integral sink doesn't have a lot (possibly any) grading toward the drain, so some water sits in the lowest point of the sink between the drain and the porcelator (overflow hole). The measurements were true and we had no issues with installation. I wanted a single hole faucet installed, so I didn't have to cut any additional holes. I had done a lot of research on this item before purchasing, so I knew what to expect. The top sounds cheap... that is the only way I can describe it. You're not going to get the "ting" of porcelain or the low knock of granite. It sounds hollow (it is) and plastic-esque. My ONE issue that has made me switch back and forth between 2 and 3 stars is the drain placement. Before installation, it wasn't apparent that the drain hole was right of center. Of course the top had to be on, and the faucet connected (this was a 2 1/2 day project due to missing water shut offs and drain stopper frustrations) to see the holes didn't line up!! I don't know what to do about it now as it's already installed. I hate paying full price for an inferior product. So, basically, my review is somewhere between the top being what I expected and the flawed top that I actually received.

Sink was easy to install and surprisingly lightweight. Able to quickly ship to Anchorage, Alaska within a week or so of being ordered. Sink looks great and is easy to clean. Thank You......

Product is fine, but not as advertised. It is basically made of plastic. I was hoping for more of a cultured marble and this is not that. Please consider updating the description to better describe the materials used to make the product. .

I so regret my Swanstone purchase a few years ago; I've got permanent stains from very simple use (what is spurring me to write now is that I set a bottle of Lysol toilet bowl cleaner in the sink for literally a minute, to rinse the bottom off, and now I have two new stains in the middle of the bowl that isn't scrubbing off even with more bleach). Even water stains it. Forget about rust, don't you dare set a shaving cream bottle on it. Dings do not buff out, unless you dig deep and that wears down the surrounding surface; stains only sometimes.

Love the shape of sink. Sink material was terrible. Would stain and scratch easily. Didn't realize it when I ordered it. After opening I closed it up for immediate return, would never use this type of sink. Especially for the price.

I like a shinny surface

Fit perfectly. Love the look in our bathroom. Easy to keep clean. We really like the fact that the sink is incorporated in the top and not an add on from below.

So surprised at how light weight this is.

I ordered this counter/sink to match another one that was already in my house when I bought it. I was surprised when the box was opened to find that the finish of this counter and sink is matte and not a shiny polished surface like the otherwise identical one I have in my other bathroom. There is no place in the product information that mentions the type of finish so I assumed it had a shiny finish. I like it very much but am disappointed that it isn’t exactly the same. It’s a very nice product. My other disappointment is that I had to go elsewhere to purchase a matching side splash as Home Depot does not carry it. I went to the trouble to do this, again, because I wanted a matching sink.
