This was a Christmas gift - but he loved it!

Great price

The speed square is actually 90 degrees but the black markings are not uniform, half marked, and sloppily applied. The rule on the combination square is not 6 inches and approximately 1/32 inch short, so measurements taken from the short end of the rule are not accurate.

Speedsquare and trisquare in one package.I have an old Duncan Maclenburgh, but the contrast is not as good without the black markings. Plus the Duncan and Swanson are actually SQUARE, some of the other brands I am not so sure about.

The best thing a DIYer could purchase. So many different things you can do with this tool. The only negative about is that it's not sold in store. You have to order it online and shipped to the store.

Great price and product. I bought a Swanson speed square 40 yrs ago and still works great and is still readable. I got this kit for the blue book (my other one wore out). As I still do alot of finish work and the small combo square works great as a depth gauge. Very handy for router work. No complaints whatsoever.

Solid Built.

I used them first day I had them to calibrate my miter saw alignment. worked great for building workbench, scoring lines on the top for fasteners was easy. Used speed square to help cut flooring planks with circular saw saved tons of time and effort. look forward to more fun projects using these tools.

I haven't had a chance to use the speed square yet but having a second combination square is awesome. If I need to make a hole that it 3 inches from one side and 2 inches from the other side it helps to have two of them! The quality is definitely there.
