They were perfect for our outlets

I used this metal cover as a replacement of an old plastic cover. Fit great and easy to install. Looks better and more weather proof than the old one.

This product met and exceeded our expectations. Highly recommend this product due to its metal construction and multiple uses.

Used these before and they do the job without costing so much. Very versatile also.

The supplied screws are under sized. Should be #6 at 0.138 in. OD, the supplied screws were 0.130 and may not hold. Plastic inserts don't thrill me either. The one I received didn't have the Bell name and appears to be a substitute with the same 820 356 number, labeled as Commercial Electric made for HD.

Solid product.

This one was rather inexpensive and the design I needed. The tab to lift the lid is little small but not a big deal- and it does offer the ability to lock it. I was replacing a REALLY old unit, not the same brand and was a horizontal mounted vertical by the original home owner- not a good idea! So this one is just fine!

Does the job

They changed this model. I hope it is as effective as the old one. The old model had more insulation around the cover.

Works exactly as it should.

I needed to quiet the noise coming from my wife about how she couldn't plug in her cell phone when she was sitting on the back porch after I replaced the broken plug covers. This fixed the sound and keeps the plug covered when not in use.

Solid outlet cover. Holes lined up perfect with my outlet so installed easily in about a minute.

did not even make it out of the store with this. Ordered for online pickup and as soon as I saw it, i new it would not hold up. It was the same kind I removed, which lasted about 18 months before the paint started falling off of it. I opted to buy one one that was made in america.....Greenfield..not available at Home Depot. I will be interested to see how long this one lasts.

This cover is easy to install

good, solid fitting. Used two almost side by side to waterproof pool lights and waterjet switches that are exposed to the elements on a architectural column. Easy to install and look good.

Seems sturdy, only problem is, if it's mounted in a exterior recessed panel like you might have with vinyl siding, it's very difficult to open because of the design. You might need a piece of string to hook the cover hole or 2 inch fingernails. The old cover Red O Dot Home Depot used to carry was far superior to this annoying cover.

The cover is great and versatile. I wish there was a bulk order price on these covers!

Mount screws too long...

I used this cover for outdoor receptacles. The slotted screw holes make it easy to install. Just leave the screws out about 3/8 of an inch, slide the cover into place and tighten the screws.

Did not like that the brand name was stamped on the product. Would have preferred a plain cover

Nice cover, made of metal, decent finish..... Works great and easy access , using for single gang double toggle switch vertical that gets used alot.... Easiest cover for all to operate compared to all the other ones I tried.... I can't vouch for horizontal application... but nice feature is a pad lock eye if you need to lock it or for hurricane weather ... Easy to install, just snap in the correct insert for your application..... Even comes with mounting screws if yours are to short or missing....

It is not really universal. Works OK for double socket (although the gasket holes are in the wrong place but this is easy to fix) Does not work for standard switch, the holes in the plate are in the wrong place. Kind of one of these "one size fits some, if you are lucky"

This is a replacement cover for a cheap plastic that did not last on my beachfront porch. It is holding up very well.

The cover works great for outlets and basic switches. However the Cover WILL NOT work with "sliding" style dimmers.
