Caught that pesky mole when all my other attempts to eliminate him had failed. Was a nice fat guy that was destroying my yard like he was several moles. Well worth the money.

It's a pain to set and hasn't trapped a mole yet. Definately not user friendly or effective.

It is a little tough to set but it worked.

This product is not effective or user friendly. It snaps for no reason and it is difficult to keep it set. U would not recommend thus product anyone. If I could give no stars, I would.

This is the second Tomcat mole trap that I purchased...I gave my first trap to a friend since he had mole activity in his yard. I got this new trap yesterday because I noticed new tunnels in my yard...today I got the mole! I have trapped over 10 moles with the trap over the past several years. I like that it is easy to see if the trap has been tripped from a distance. The trap is durable and very effective.

Even though others said that the product was too easy to break I tried it and it worked like. A charm

Bought this and moles don't trigger, not springs to tight or what but definitely doesn't work.

Caught the devil mole the second day. Need to practice on how to set the trap, and place in the best location. I would highly recommend this device. I had tried to trap that mole for over six months with steel prong traps. I also tried artificial worms for bait but foxes kept digging them up.

Every good product easy to use bought two traps killed two easy did what it said.

The trap works great, if placed correctly over a tunnel. Had 2 kills last summer and 2 more this summer. Deducted one star because the trap takes a lot of skill and strength to set, as well as release the dead mole.

You would be better off buying a cat. This does not work.

I recommend this trap. After 2 weeks of trying Tomcast Mole & Gopher bait and Tomcat Rodent Bait Pale poison, a mole continued to make swiss cheese of my lawn. Then I decided to try this trap before I gave up and called a professional exterminator. It took two attempts using 2 traps but I finally caught the mole. I used two traps because I had extensive tunneling and I wanted to increase my chances. One trap is enough. I probably would have caught the mole on my first attempt but positioned the trap incorrectly. This scissor trap has a very strong spring. It takes quite a bit of leg power to push it into lock position. Some people may find it difficult to use. You will have to cut two small slits in the grass over the tunnel with a shovel so you can insert the closed trap. Once you insert the trap, you step on the locking mechanism which opens the blades and locks it in place. Tips: 1. Make sure you insert it in an ACTIVE tunnel. Make a small hole in a tunnel the day before and mark it to identify the location. If the hole is filled with new dirt when you recheck it, it is an active tunnel. 2. Individuals who find this trap too cumbersome, might consider using a metal scissor trap. It's smaller but more expensive. 3. Although some find success using poisons, based on my experience and my research I would skip the poisons and start with a trap. 4. Moles' primary food source is not grubs, it's earthworms. But they do eat grubs and other insects. So using grub insecticide may or may not help prevent moles from tunneling in your yard. That said, killing the grubs in your lawn may discourage skunks, raccoons or armadillos from tearing up your lawn or prevent the grubs from damaging your grass. 5. Fantastic mole trap!

It has been challenging to get it to set and no catches after a week.

I’d like to return them if possibles I’ve tried everything they say to doiTunes videos and allTomcat customer service was no helpPlease advise

I bought one two years ago and within that two years I trapped 4 moles. Not to bad.

I have two of these traps and they work great. I have caught about 10 moles this summer alone. However, one of them has a broken clamp, the part that is under ground and actually catches the mole. Is there a way I can get a replacement to that entire side. I have looked at it and believe I could replace it if I had the part. Is there a way I can order a replacement part?

History is ineffective piece of junk don't buy it don't believe their claims it's junk it's poorly engineered.

I easy to place, but I have yet to catch a mole.

Trap is too hard to set. Once the trap is set it seems it can be easily tripped without catching moe. I would like authorization to return to local store.
