Nothing too complicated here. Finally a drop cloth that is designed for a hallway. It fits very well. (See photo.) That’s important to help avoid bulky under-folds or other tripping hazards.
Other than the fit, this drop cloth is a step up from an all paper or all plastic version. It incorporates the best of both worlds. This should be good for a few uses and then can be tossed if used lightly. It is made from inexpensive materials so it can easily be punctured by a stepladder or similar. This might limit reuse. Keep in mind though, that this is a very inexpensive product so it is a good value.

keeping it clean
This dropcloth has two layers. The top layer is like a thick paper towel and the bottom layer is made out of a shiny plastic material. I used this drop cloth on top of my regular fabric dropcloth just for precaution; but it wasn't necessary because the paint didn't soak through. It is long enough to cover the floor along an average length wall. Personally I wouldn't reuse this dropcloth unless I didn't waste any paint on it or I was using while I was spray painting.
