Light Spray Paint Duty Only
It's an okay product, but not impressed, in the future I will lean toward plastic. This product is paper, but perhaps not durable enough or limited in application. My recent experience with this product is that this paper cloth got wet with water spray from scraping a ceiling. I tried to let it dry out but it still tore when I folded it up. Even with the little amount of water spray, it does up to foot traffic, so there is a little bit of a "plus".

Works as intended
I used this product to cover my stairs during a home renovation and it worked as intended. There wasn't any damage to my stairs, and it cleaned up pretty easy.

I bought this product to cover my wood floor while painting. The paper is very, very thin and will rip apart easily and will tear when stepped on. Don,t waste your money. More junk from the HD.

    it's not much
I don't expect a lot for four dollars but this is basically tissue paper. It tears when you try to lay it down. I expected something a little stronger like a durable paper bag.

Disposable Drop cloth...though it will last if you are careful with it.
I've got plenty of heavy canvas drop cloths for painting, but they take up space between jobs. If you are painting the ceilings of your apartment and need to keep the carpet safe, this is the thing to buy. Move them around as you need to, then throw them away at the end of the job...probably you could recycle them like cardboard. Also good to tape down to floors to protect during a construction project.

Better for light/spray painting or dry jobs
With no plastic backing, this really limits the drop cloths' usability. So be careful how and where you use it. I used to cover counter jobs when working on my cabinets in the kitchen. Better for dry or hard surfaces rather than using on top of upholstered furniture, stainable or soft items you don't want damaged. Also used to drape over some tables/wood furniture and my flat screens TV when bombing the house for fleas. Not sure I would really use this for regular (brush or roll on) painting especially with how sloppy I can be. Nice idea to have 2 cloths in a package and that they are safe for the environment. Not sure I would buy these again due to their limitations.

      9 ft. x 12.ft Paper Drop Cloth (2-Pack).
This 9 ft. x 12.ft Biodegradable Paper Drop Cloth (2-Pack), is a light duty paper cloth for a light panting or very light spray painting dust. This paper prop cloth it is not made for a heavy duty painting or other wet works. If you like to cover your stuff, just before you need to do some light spray painting, the price is right for this product. We just did that, and it was good. It absorbed and covered the paint dust with no problems.

4 Stars?? Must've been different product
For only three or four bucks I didn't expect a whole lot. I thought to myself, well maybe it's the consistency of shopping bag paper... That would have been great. More like tissue paper meets wrapping paper, with a bunch of pre-cut slits to help it rip open when you walk on it. All this did was cost me time - the time it took to bunch it up and throw it away. 0 Stars.

        Good for home use
These drop cloths do a good job for basic painting. Not too many features and the big bonus if the good feeling you get when you can recycle or compost them. They are durable but not as sturdy as a tarp or plastic linen cloth. I got a few good uses out of them but would not expect a good service-life from them if I were a professional painter.

Great for empty rooms and covering floors
This is a good option if you need to cover the floor in an empty room. It is a large sheet of thin paper (lighter in weight than butcher paper) and will work well as a drop cloth as long as you don't have any large spills. It is un-coated paper. It is pretty stiff too, so it doesn't drape easily and it will tear. I used it to drape over some counters and cabinets and though it did the job, a plastic drop would have been better for that purpose. It ripped with its own weight on a cabinet corner and I had to tape it up. It was better than plastic on the floor because it didn't move with every small breeze in the room, and could easily be shifted when needed. Though this is paper, it's can't be recycled if you get a lot of paint on it (same applies for plastic drops). Overall, use it if you need an inexpensive drop for a flat surface, otherwise look to something that will flex like plastic or cloth.

Fast and easy to use for a project.
I have several canvas clothes and they are great but they are also getting paint coated, crusty and bulky to deal with so I thought I would give thes Paper Drop Clothes a try. Nice. They worked well, protected area that I was working on. I need to replace some sheetrock on the ceiling where I had a leak from the bath above. This was great to contain the mess to one little area and made it easy to pick up all of the debris. I would buy again.

        Affordable drop cloth solution
I live in a condo so there is not a lot of room to store tools and other home improvement supplies. I had some painting projects and messy projects where I needed something to protect my wood floors and this fit the bill perfectly. The drop cloth is not as heavy or strong as a paper grocery bag but had similar properties to regular paper. Because of the 9' x 12' dimension I ripped the paper to make smaller custom sized drop clothes to meet my need. I had no issues with the paper ripping but I did notice the paper didn't seem to hold up where I had my water glass sitting. So I would use something thicker or multiple layers of this drop cloth if you have a painting project or other projects where you would use this drop cloth. For the price and the size of the drop cloth this is a great deal and its easy to dispose of when you're done.

I recently used this on a project.....
I recently used this on a project I was doing here at home. Texture coating my walls and ceiling. Since texture coat just get all over the place, I layed this down on the floor, but wasn't to happy with it. When I would move my platform ladder around the room, the paper tore very eas, making my clean up a bit harder. It would be more suitable if you didn't have to walk on it or use a ladder like I did.

        Just what was needed.
In stripping a floor I needed something to protect and transition to from the floor with solution all over it and protect a carpeted floor. This product fit the need.

        SO much better than plastic
Way cheaper than canvas, and so much easier to work with than plastic, which goes flying all around! These are huge and stay put. If you're working outside, you may want to invest in canvas. For indoors I highly can recommend these!! They work really great, I haven't had any problems, and it covers a huge amount of area.
