We've chosen to go with Vintage Leather due to its pleasant color palette and texture. The samples we've received from TimberTech/Azek were clean and flawless. Unfortunately, the same cannot be said about the decking for our project - which has been on hold for over two months now. As you'll see in the attached images, many planks have ugly, distracting yellow lines. TimberTech/Azek defends these defects as "natural" and "part of their staining process". Very poor product overall.

I installed this decking about 6 months ago and am not pleased with the result. It bends when we walk on it a lot more than wood does. Additionally, it already has minor scratches from our dogs and stains next to the grill. Given the massive price difference to wood ($110 to $20), we expected it to be vastly superior and it just is not. It's just a low quality material and honestly, I'm anticipating it needing to be replaced in 5-10 years due to stains and stratches.

Sample was affordable and helpful. Easy pickup at store.

We used TimberTech Azek decking last summer for a new covered porch. On delivery there was an overwhelming skunk odor. Installer could not smell it but his assistant could, as could my family. Contacted the manufacturer who said this happens sometimes and odor may or may not go away, but not covered by warranty. Cleaned and allowed to weather for almost a year and skunk smell less but still strong when the boards heat up in the sun. Tearing it out to replace it with pressure-treated lumber.

It seemed pretty nice, I got 2 samples but when we tried to purchase, it wasn’t available anywhere.

Didn’t receive what the picture show! Don’t expect what it shows on their website as the item you get, will not be the same.

Love it. Just be careful if you have it delivered. Once I unwrapped the pallet 2 boards had been broke from fork lift forks. It then required 60 miles round trip to return and get replacements

Good product but was to heavy for my project

It was good to be able to examine a sample of this material in person including cutting, drilling, testing its strength, etc. And only a buck. Great deal.

Bought two lengths for a 500 foot deck, 20 ft and 16 ft. some of the 16ft were more than a 1/8 inch thinner widthwise and did not line up. The local home depot has been very unhelpful in getting in contact with the factory and resolving this claiming that "we were the ones to order the materials" and making very little effort to help resolve the situation. It's been 2 weeks with no resolution

I ordered Azek in several different colors and grades as well as Timbertech Composites. We are currently deciding which grade/color to go with! Quality of AZEK is the best of any we have found.

Excellent product! I built a deck 20 years ago usingTimberTech. Because it has been so good, I decided to use TimberTech again when I expanded. Y deck. I was not disappointed. Many improvements have been made on a excellent product that was great to begin my deck. Very happy with the end result !

Great sample. The grip is exactly what I was looking for and I love the color options. It’s unfortunate that Home Depot doesn’t carry all of the actual full board lengths for every sample.

Excellent Product; will be thinking about getting decks replaced with TimberTech!
