Get a saw ready to take these out of the package Once they're out, they work well. The license plate mount is plastic but surprisingly sturdy yet pliable. The lights themselves have a good mounting system using screws on the rear. My application was through a 1/8" plate on the rear of a trailer so it was very easy to mount. If you have a tube or square frame it will be a challenge and require longer hardware The wiring kit is complete and the plugs seem to be built better than average. They have much more rubber around them. This set comes with a male and female end. As for submersion, I did a 24 hour torture test (see video) After 24 hours submerged, I tested the light and it worked great. The design I noticed is that the diodes are sealed but the lens is allowing water to pass in and out. However, after a prolonged time, the inside of the lens may gunk up and eventually need to be removed and cleaned. Especially if used on a boat trailer in salt water or dirty river water. The light pattern appears to be a spot/flood pattern and that is a bonus in my opinion Would recommend if this size and shape is what you need

The plastic box had to be cut open to remove the topmost light. Everything was there, lights, wire harness, tag hanger, connectors. ==== Installation ==== This went slowly because I was removing lights that were standard width and the mount location for them was too narrow to install the new lights without blocking the tie-down strap holes. So I had to drill 4 holes in my galvanized trailer, which is a bad idea for corrosion control. On the left side which has the license tag hanger, the bolts were just long enough to attach the nuts and washers but only if I pressed hard against the light. The mounting screws should be at least 1/2" longer. I did not install the wire harness since I already had one that was installed about 1 year ago. ==== Operation ==== Lights are fairly bright (not extremely bright) and work perfectly. The lights do shine to the side as well as to the rear. The license plate light seems a bit dim. These LED's are submersible with few of the problems associated with submerging regular incandescent bulbs and sockets. ==== Summary ==== Some installation issues with replacing the older narrow lights. Very bright. Works as advertised.

I’ve become a great fan of LED lighting, due to the long life and economy of LED’s. I’ve changed our entire home over to LED’s and have noticed a significant reduction in electricity costs, as well as having to replace NO bulbs in the last year. The long life and durability of LED’s are what made me decide to try these LED trailer lights. The incandescent lights on my trailers have always been an ongoing maintenance issue on my trailers, especially my boat trailers where the lights are submerged. These lights appear to be very well sealed. The plastic of the housings and lenses is obviously hefty, the mounting studs are solidly attached, the light does not appear to be flimsy built and should last much longer the lighter weight incandescent lights most trailers have. Also, they are very bright, no trouble seeing the brake or turn signal lights even in bright sunshine. Only time will tell how these hold up compared to regular trailer lights, but I feel comfortable predicting they will outlast several “cheaper” lights

Somebody bought in return the product previous to me made it look like the package was unopened and I had to return it wasted my valuable Saturday morning time

Lights have been exchanged a couple times. Water still gets inside and they burn out. Not properly sealed

Good quality very bright easy to install

Installed this kit on a boat trailer 1 year ago. Soldered and shrink wrapped all connections. This year NONE of the lights were working. Cut into the wire and find all the wires had turned to gray powder inside the plastic jacket. Even right up to the connector the conductors were just completely corroded away. Don't know what they made this wire from, but it is total junk. If you buy these lights, do yourself a favor and buy quality marine wire (e.g. Ancor 154010). And get a robust trailer connector like Wesbar 787268. The poor quality wire in this kit cost me many hours of work to rewire the trailer (again) after only 1 year.

This light set was fairly easy assemble and the slim design allows you to mount the lights in different areas of the trailer without being in the way. Led lights are very bright and noticeable. I very happy with the choice I made!

It was a direct replacement of the old broken incandescent lights I had when I bought it. Install was a breeze, plenty of wire (for my ATV trailer). Would highly recommend if you need to replace your lights.

Excellent product. Easy install. Very bright. Works after launching the boat. Time will tell how long they last, but for now, very happy with the purchase. I would recommend led running lights also, with metal backing plates for better ground.

What a difference, clearly much better than the incandescent tail lights, much sharper and brighter. And I don't have to fiddle with the bulbs every time I want to use the trailer. A must but.

I added on my rear RV and I wish they have a white light for reverse.

These lights work great - bright and easy to install but for $60 dollars, I wish the quality was better. The wires are thin/easily break-after several months, the plastic because very brittle, stranded wire does too! Basically-they break easy- the plastic light housing is not of high quality!
