I have used Trafficmaster Allure grip strip flooring for years. I have always achieved great results. My current project went over a painted hardwood floor, as stripping the floor would have been more expensive, and installing this flooring gave it a natural wood look without the mess and fumes associated with stripping and applying a new finish and repairing defects in the floor. I am looking forward to many years with this flooring in my remodeled study!

Do Not Install In Direct Sunlight
I have used this product on two separate projects - one new build and the other a renovation. In the renovation project the area has shaded windows and it turned out nicely. For the price it worked well. I tried this product again on a new build where the door does not have blinds and gets direct sunlight. Attached is the photo where the sunlight hits. The instructions say to not install in direct sunlight but I didn't realize how bad it would warp the product.

Comes with a sticky edge .. do not make contact until ready to seal or it gets messy to remove. When u cut away a piece it is rendered useless to reuse that price since the sticky strip won't line up with a new plank. Worst product to use if u have alot of angled cuts. Most of the flooring isn't adhered to anything around the area I cut for steps. I need to glue it down .. smh Worst design ever. At least provide spare adhesive joint

    Came stuck to each other
All came stuck together. Adhesive side to adhesive side

I have used this product before and love working with it. No need for a saw or hammer. Just a utility knife and a steady hand. Easier than click lock flooring.

      Poor quality
Looks beautiful when installed. After 3-4 months, corner pieces started breaking off, then it's just splintering and coming apart everywhere. We had to put tape on them to keep them from cutting out bare feet. Absolute waste of money. Can't get a refund, Home depot says to contact manufacturer, Traffic Master says contact Home Depot.

Do not buy this flooring-it is complete trash
I purchased a little over 3000 ft.² of this material for a new home build. My client picked it out and we began installing it. By the second day, the material was buckling up. The material was installed at approximately 75°. Please read the fine print, you need to constantly have HVAC going while you are not only installing the floor, but for the lifetime of the floor. Also understand that this is not a UV protected Floor. You basically need blackout curtains as well. Complete trash

Does not look like the pictures when installed.
There is a specific way that they recommend you install it and it should not be installed that way because it doesn’t look right at all. Very “fake” looking unfortunately. It also is popping up in certain areas. Definitely wish I would have gone with something else. I am completely unsatisfied and truly hate it! It’s too busy and the way they say it should be installed makes no sense and my husband now wishes he would have installed it staggered as he has done in the past.

Has a Rich Look and Easy to Install
I love this product. I stubbled upon it after a tenant destroyed year old pergo flooring. It cuts with a box cutter and snaps into place. Its lasted several tenants and if there is a scratch is normally from moving heavy furniture and just a wood marker or wood stain will cover it up. I ended up using in the entire house. Although this can be floated i chose to glue mine down to give a solid feel.

Chips, peels and is a waste of money!
We’ve had our new floor for a year and a half and it’s really chipping, peeling and starting to come up at seams (in more than 7 different spots). We did our living room, dining room and hallway (which will all have to redone). This might be great for people to do on their own but it doesn’t last. If you plan to stay in your place for more than a year, get a quality product and don’t go for the most economical because you get what you pay for.

the edge isn’t flush on many pieces
I laid this flooring and insured that I matched up the edges, perfectly, and smooth them down. However, the next day I woke up, and some of the edges are peeking up over the other tile which worries me, because if they get caught, it will rip the tile up I do love the look of it, but I’m concerned about the tile not sticking together very well.there is no a to fix the problem. If I were to use hlue that would void the warranty

The best value in Vinyl Plank flooring.
In the last 9 years I have installed various patterns of this product in 12 properties. I have installed it over concrete, ceramic tile, old sheet vinyl, and plywood. I have not had one call back. I own or maintain 7 of the properties so I get to see its condition on a regular basis. No owner or tenant has been able to damage it yet.

I absolutely love the color style Fenton as it looked natural. I was surprised that these self-adhesive planks had the tabs on them and not a self-adhesive strip on the underside. This required more strategy when installing and made it difficult at times when positioning the planks. 2 cases came damaged even with the extra packaging around the items. Returning was seamless and I didn't need to order more. The adhesive is extremely strong which was nice when the plank fit right into place, but when it wasn't I had to be careful because the other planks would shift or tear if I pulled too hard. The tabs were gray, which I think black would have been better, so if you didn't get them aligned just right, then black would blend in more. These were hard to cut, I used a razorblade to establish a straight line then used an aviation snip for the rest. Planks are stuck tight. The large room was way easier than a smaller bathroom. Overall, now that the installing is done, I am happy with how it turned out.

3 years in and it’s garbage.
Our flooring was installed by a professional. It was done correctly. I wash it the way it says daily. Coasters under all furniture in my house. Blackout curtains so there isn’t even sun damage on it…. It’s separated, chipped and the latest is where the glue strip attaches to the next strip is beaming off so the planks are just laying next to each other with no glue between in some spots. They’re also warping upwards at the sides. Problems in every room in the house. Living room is the worst.

Hello: Looks very nice. Thickness is just fine. Adhesive on tabs is quite strong. Note, the tabs are an excellent location to drive a trim nail, primarily along your first row, in order to anchor in place for all remaining rows to remain securing and scooting around. Seek the Lord Jesus while He may be found, we have no other hope. God bless you

I love this product and have used it in three houses. It is so easy to install and looks amazing. It wears so well, even when multiple kids and pets are scrambling over it on a daily basis! The biggest drawback I found was the lack of subtlety in the medium wood tones-most have very pronounced grain patterns. I was extremely disappointed that the cherry finish only has six completely unique patterns in each box. That is not enough to avoid a repetitive look in large expanses of flooring. I was shocked that there were so few unique patterns, it made it very difficult to place planks whereas in the past I felt I was able to spend less time choosing plank arrangement and more time on installation. I'm not sure if that's because the Cherry plank pattern in the past had less noticeable repetitions or actually less repetitions. Either way this product must have more variation in the design if I'm going to use it again after we move in a few years.

I have been using Allure TrafficMaster flooring since 2015 in rentals and have been very impressed with how well this flooring holds up even with dogs. Plus it is easy to install.

                        Great for uneven floors
The flooring is very flexible and follows the contour of the floor. It is easy to cut and reasonably priced. It is a very durable product. The only plank flooring that could reasonably be installed on our uneven floor

                        Reasonably good for the price.
This flooring is cheaper than many alternatives for floating floors, and because it has an adhesive rather than “click together” you do not have to worry about the tabs breaking when installing it. On the downside it takes more time to assure a tight fit with the adhesive and is difficult to reposition once the two sitcky sides have touched. Will have to see how it holds up over time
