I used this turf to create a mini golf course. We stapled the edges of the turf down. Quickly found out that when it is in the hot sun for an hour or so it starts to expands and makes bubbles pop up. Mostly solved the issue by just stapling the turf when it had already been in the sun. I think next time I will use an adhesive too, that should probably help.

Would have rated five star but I ordered a 20' roll and it arrived just under 19'8". No return policy for this product forced me to have to back fill area that was already prepped.

I ordered this product online on 7/22/24 with a store pick up on 8/2/24. I never received a follow up as the date passed. After contacting customer service they informed me that they didn’t have a valid tracking number and they couldn’t find the order. The resolution was to reorder and wait another 2 weeks with no guarantee I would even receive the new order. Customer service indicated that they have an audit process and “it would have eventually been caught”. Would not suggest ordering.

Product was easy to install and looks great Only issue was the size shipped was a few inches shorter than the 25 feet I ordered and paid for.

Ordered a 9x5 piece of this for my putting green in my garage. Rolls very nice, about the same speed as my local municipal course which is perfect. Highly recommend ! Order a little more for overhang off all edges then cut to form.

Great carpet style golf grass. Superb matting to keep smooth traffic. Made a putting green for the boat and 1/4 deck covering. Cuts to size, extremely durable compared to the ole nickel green of yesteryear. Drawback....will collect lint, noticeably within the green.

The grass is so thin I can’t anchor the turf down with galvanized nails or landscape staples. How are you supposed to anchor the turf without nail heads standing out?

Purchased for my DIY Backyard Putting Green. I was a little concerned due to the thickness of the surface compared to other brands I had received samples of but this brand had good reviews and the price at HD was much cheaper that ordering from online retailers. I'm very please the way my project turned out and how true the ball rolls on the surface even without putting sand down, which I plan on doing at a later time.

A really great product to be able to create a backyard putting green, with enough scraps to have an indoor putting mat as well. Feels great, and rolls pretty true. I would highly reccomend!

Lovely color for my balcony. Really made a difference looking out my window. Came on time and was easy to unroll. Pretty much just payed it flat on the deck and it stays smooth when cool. When it heats up it has a minimal wave but flattens out again. Rain when right through it. Good value now the kids can play with out any harm.

I needed a project for my side yard. I purchased 6x12 @ $9.90 ft. of the TrafficMaster for the putting green part. I also purchased 15x4ft of the Greenline for the fringe. I would encourage sharp scissors and utility knife for smoother cuts and less black strings. My family enjoys the finish product. Under $400 for putting green, fringe, rocks, lights, holes, and plants

The “putting green” is a very good product. If you have the room, you will be able to create an excellent practice surface. My first thought was the surface was hard, springy, and completely unlike a short grass green surface. However, once I tried it out, I found that ball roll on this surface was very much like grass. It does play faster than low quality golf course greens. The heavy-duty nature of the top and bottom surfaces lead me to believe this product will hold up over time. I do recommend “putting green” if you have an area to convert into a practice area.

This has been on the wish list for a long time. Once I get this one installed I’m going to do a another, larger one. This will be hole #1. My Traffic MASTER Putting Green came 6’ X 8’ and is just wonderful. In reality you can get it in any length up to 50' but 6’ wide (Homer also offers a 12' wide version in store.). I’ve watched the installation videos and well, this is a good starter size for me. As I plan to use this, installation will be somewhat involved but also straightforward. The carpet is well made. Everything looks top notch and durable. The quality is outstanding. The rubberized backing has plenty of weep holes. The green is realistically colored and looks lifelike. The pile is the perfect depth for a relaxed putting speed. There is what looks to be a fold seam on one end that I am certain will disappear over time. I gave it a quick tease rub and that seemed to help. Strange as it is the fold seam is only visible from one direction and not visible in the backing The picture shows it where it will be installed. I plan to install this nearly level with a wee bit of slope to drain any excess water although there really are plenty of weep holes in the backing. Traffic MASTER makes another style of artificial grass synthetic lawn turf that would make a nice apron around this green. I may do that on the “drive” end and do the rest of the perimeter with 4” x 4”’s. I’m excited. This TrafficMASTER Putting Green would also make a nice porch or sunroom carpet and would work well in a garme room. I'm really impressed.

This TrafficMaster 6x8 foot Putting Green is also perfect for floor covering on my detached deck. Simple to install and lovely olive green I am completely satisfied using this in this manner making my deck look great. It is only early Spring here in the area I reside so I still plan to stain or cover the wood deck under the Putting Green and it will even look that much better. But as my attached pictures look now the TrafficMaster Green looks pretty good already as is. Was very easy to install. The most difficult think was removing the plastic wrap that was used for shipping. The texture is great that you can even be barefoot and comfortable upon it. The artificial grass is treated so it will not fade from the sun, and is heat and frost resistant. I no longer golf but did for many years and would of set up a practice putting area using this product and I am sure would of also been extremely satisfied. So I just want everyone to know that you can use this product for various jobs and I believe that you will be delighted. We are very happy. Two thumbs up!!

This indoor/outdoor synthetic carpet comes in a 6 Ft. width and can be ordered in any linear footage up to 50 ft. I got an 8 ft. long piece that I think I'm going to use in my Florida room. The pile is short and dense and should be easy to keep clean. If I ordered this to use it as a putting green I'd be disappointed. There's a noticeable seam running through it. Not a deal breaker for my intended use but a problem if I were using it as a putting green. The Urethane-coated backing is thick and perforated for drainage if used outdoors. I couldn't find a printed warranty for this product but the Home Depot site says 8 years. Unknown what the warranty covers.

This is a really nice quality piece of outdoor putting green. The backing is done well and it is a perfect size for a patio. The length is as described and can be used for short putting. Not sure on how to clean it if it gets humidity and mold from the outdoors but it should be able to be cleaned with just a garden hose. I would recommend this product.

A 6' Putting Green? Well, OK. I guess it could be used for that. But really it's just a 6'x8' piece of astroturf. The edges on mine needed some trim work. They were all frayed with black nylon strands that had to be cut off. So I rolled mine out and went to work with some sharp scissors around all 4 edges. After I was done it looked really good. The underside rubber base has holes punched into it so the water should drain through after a rain. That's pretty nice if you plan on keeping it outdoors. The "grass" itself is a higher grade of astroturf. It's real tight and small and bent over to simulate real grass. It feels very nice on bare feet, unlike the cheap plastic astroturf that is sharp and sticks straight up. As for putting on it, when I tried it, I felt it slowed the ball a little too much, so you'll need to put a little more power into your putt. This is caused by the short artificial "grass" being bent every which way as opposed to a real golf course green being tight short cut grass that is like putting on carpet. Fast. Overall, a nicer piece of astroturf that works well on the back deck.

Simple and effective. This putting green material rolls out and has no problem staying flat. There are numerous drainage holes (that can only be seen from the underside) which is good for outdoor use of course. The underside also has little stiples to help hold the carpet in place. There is no special edging but I don’t see anything to suggest that the edges will fray. I have used this below our deck in an area that sometimes gets wet, and it provides a nice area to wipe one’s feet off to reduce dirt being tracked inside.

To be clear, my recommendations about this product are based on the fact that I wanted an outdoor carpet that rain would be able to flow through and would allow to dry in place so that I didn't have to roll it up every time it rained. As far as whether it would make a suitable putting green or not, I assume a golfer would be the better expert. I'm a designer, and I thought that, what we used to call "AstroTurf" when I was a kid, would be a great alternative to outdoor carpets that hold too much water. This stuff is heavy duty, it looks nice (just don't look too close) The piece I recd (it is usually available by the linear foot in a six foot width) was cut in a diagonal and was less than 8 ft at one side, and 98 inches on the other side, so there's that. Also, there was a line in the rug that looked like a whole row of the polyethylene fibers was left out. I'm guessing this piece was a factory second. But it still looks good, at a distance. It's a fun material to work with and I will try and find other ways to work with it in my design work.

Product was exactly as described. I needed to cut it and it was very easy to do. I would buy this again.

Expensive, but it is a quality product.

When it says cut to length it really means you get a 4x6ft square. I ordered 24ft and that’s all I got!

My daughter plays field hockey and she needed a practice area set up in our backyard and this was the perfect artificial turf grass to use.

The turf looks really nice. I bought it for the top surface of a hitting strip for a golf simulator. The only drawback for that is that the club shreds the turf with each impact so you end up having debris laying around. I can’t imagine it’s designed for hitting on so I can’t knock it for that reason. It does also leave a little mess when you are cutting it. You have to expect that though.

I was disappointed when I received the 6x6 size as the cuts weren’t straight across and there were very apparent marks every 1.5 feet that it was multiple pieces put together. I like the grass type and length, but appearance wise I was disappointed in what I received for the price I paid.
