I wish there was a review of this before I bought it. the fan was hard to put together but I got it. only 1 extra spring in the box and materials were cheaply made but one of the screws for the blades would not tighten all the way and I was afraid at some point it would fail and today it finally did. there is no way to fix a stripped out screw in a fan blade of this type. 1 year and it is garbage.

This is the worst fan I have ever purchased. Canvas blades were torn and spring clips were stretched out!!!

Looks nice, and when it works properly, is nice. However, It's a bugger to put together and the springs loosen over time. Worst of all, if the screws holding the arms to the motor degrades, there's no way to balance the rotation. Might as well toss the whole thing. Contacting distributors availed me no success.

Fan is sold as an outdoor product and within one week parts were starting to rust. Springs that hold the canvas on are worthless.
