Excellent product at a reasonable price. They add a nice ambiance to our new deck.

The caps look great on the posts. The lights are fairly bright at night. We've had lots of comments about them.

Light are good accent but not as bright as you want them to be.

So far so good. Installed them and been using them for a couple of weeks. Work perfectly on my PVC deck posts. The light brightness and color is very good. So far it is everything I expected. We’ll see how they perform long term.

I love them but for the reason I gave 4 stars is that out of 6 I have 2 that don’t work and I’m going to return them for 2 others. I hope the others work well

Steam-line, low profile 4X4 post light. Had purchased 16 pcs. previously, needed one moreto complete project.

these caps are very difficult to fit on a 4-in post. I've already broken two of the base rims trying to get them on the 4-in post which the packaging clearly says they will fit. I guess I will try to get some replacement parts. I do not recommend for 4-in posts.

These solar caps look amazing and add beautiful ambiance to our deck! So far so good and they are all working well, but they have only been out in the elements a couple of weeks. I am not sure how long they will last but hoping for the best since they may be hard to replace one at a time, especially down the line, and possibly get discontinued.

plastic is ok quality.Did not fit the fiberon post covers, so I has to cut a bit the corners of the lamp from the inside with a utility knife then it worked. The price is really high as the plastic and its composition is not that sturdy. The batteries will not fully recharge with this small solar area but will have enough for a midnight party.

They look very nice. So far they've lit up nicely every night for the past month. Wish they were offered colored lights not just white.

I bought the 4 x 4 solar post light for my patio, the spec’s say this will fit a 4 x 4 post but it will not. It’s about a 1/16 inch to small. Right now I have them just sitting in top of the post. They do look nice at night when they’re all lit up. Wish I could get the on the post.

Simple yet decorative. The light comes on automatically at night lighting the walk. The light is bright and stylish. They were more expensive than I wanted to spend, but I am happy with them.

bought these to replace some traditional caps that were cracked. both were Veranda products as well as the post. I tried to shave the post sleeve a bit, but these don't slip down as deep as the regular caps due to the light so they pop right off. not worth it they are going back. if you are going to silicone or screw they could have been made wider.

We put these up today & it gives a nice umpf to the fence & gate. Can you say curb appeal? Wow! No, they’re not bright, but it gives great illumination to your fence post where there’s a little pit of light.

These solar lights are exactly what i wanted. They accent my hot tub area and illuminate the railings without blinding my company. Well designed, beautiful, high quality.

Very nice looking post cap! I just finished installing 15 of them. My posts are composite and are rounded so I used a coping saw and notched the corners on 3 sides and the post caps fit great!

These 4x4 solar caps fit perfectly while offering sufficient lighting to accebt the stairs of my rear deck.

We are one week into the install of our solar light caps and they are AWESOME! We put them on every corner post and end post and they complete our new deck!

Lights are just enough when I turn the porch light out perfect!

Our yard is 40' x 80' approx. I have these on all my fence posts. I installed them last year. They look awesome and have lasted through all the rain and snow NH can muster. I read that one gentleman said they get water inside and corrode the unit. I have over 30 of these, as long as you install them correctly, keeping the top section tightly on the bottom, (why take them apart in the first place???) you will have no problems. I love them.

These are absolutely gorgeous at night on the deck railings We used 2 on each side of the stairs. Love them!!.

The Veranda Solar Post Cap was just what I needed for the posts going around my upper pool deck. They don't put out much light, but gives a real nice and elegant look. I have the white post sleeves and hand rail with black metal balusters. Very easy to mount, some post sleeves need a file to contour edge for cap to slip over. Besides that, it was a breeze.

Easy to assemble, looks great at night! Have 11 of them on the deck of our above ground pool. Let's see how they hold up to winter in New England.

Easy install, great ambient light. I used 13 of these on Veranda White Traditional Fence Post Jackets (4 in x 4 in) for our new deck and steps. The light is not bright but it provides enough illumination to walk down the steps safely and to enjoy the night sky. According to my smartphone light meter, the light produces 2 lux at 4 feet. The light is visible on the deck floor for up to approximately 5 feet from the post. The light fits very snuggly to the post. I found it best to take the light apart by unsnapping the 3 plastic pieces from each other (no tools required) to install the light on the post jackets. Be careful not to put too much pressure on the plastic clamps as they will bend too far and break. I separated the three pieces, then worked on putting only the bottom piece onto the post jackets. I also used a mallet to lightly tap the bottom piece in place. Then I replaced the center window, followed by the top piece which houses the solar system and LED bulb. These lights add a little more beauty to our deck and steps, while at the same time not ruining our ability to enjoy the stars. If you are looking for ambient lighting, this is a great light.
