All of my other raised beds are giving us tons of tomatoes as our weather has been very good. None from my two beds where I tried this product. It’s very difficult to work with safely. Wear a mask! Water it well. I would never buy it again.

Excellent soil! The texture is very consistent, airy and fluffy, but still fast draining. My potted roses and anemones are thriving!

Basically peat moss shipped dry. Needs perlite mixed in to keep if rom compacting as it has none in it. Rehydrated it with a lot of water, got a nice consistency and planted my plants in it. Two weeks later and the soil is still wet with mold growing on top. I’ve used straight up peat moss mixing perlite in it and never had this problem. Can’t really recommend it for this price. I thought it would be something special but nothing special here.

I had never used dry potting soil and was unsure of how much water I needed to reconstitute sufficiently - so I called company direct and they were helpful - I wish a ratio for water to dry mix had been on packaging

Plants are growing beautifully!

Fluffed up great with water and I love that it's organic and peat free. Used it with a few indoor inch plants, succulents (mixed with a lot of perlite), and a peace lily. It's been over a month and they're thriving!

I feel it would be disingenuous to give the product a 4 star rating, simply because of its price. I absolutely love this product and will continue to purchase whenever I can afford to.

Good value, but too much peat for my plants' liking.

I am very happy with results of using this product. My tomato seedlings tripled in size in short order although I did add a bit of fertilizer to each container. The product was easy to use. It was delivered quickly and was worth the plrice.

This is probably mostly on me for I guess not understanding what I'm buying (thinking it's soil), but it's not exactly soil. It holds way too much moisture (doesn't drain). I mixed it with soil and perlite to help.

I'm no plant expert but it's doing what I want it to do. Will buy again.

Used in an earthbox and for seed starting. Just produced crap results.

This soil has really been great for amending and top soiling my current soil for my first veggie garden! I highly recommend it! I already have some strong starts coming up.

I like that this potting mix is dry. It was easy to just add water to it myself and not have to worry that the bag of potting mix might be full of gnats. I will definitely be buying it again.

The soil labeling has NO information on what it contains or what the product actually is. It is dry and fine and resembles straight peat moss. I will not be buying this again. Even the website lacks real information about the product.

The good news is that this can be delivered to your house. The boxes aren’t even that heavy and the convenience is a huge plus. The bad news is that this is very expensive soil compared to others and while the advantage of it being desiccated is that it is very light and easy to pour (zero clumping), the disadvantage is billowing dust clouds when you pour it and it has a consistency similar to sand so not great for planting trees. It’s a great alternative if you dont want to go to the store and pick up otherwise very heavy bags of soil. If that isnt an issue, stick to the normal soil.

This soil was a great mix for starting my seeds. I mixed it 1:1 with perlite. It is shipped dry, which saves shipping costs. It is easy to add water at home. I will purchase again!

I really like this soil! I like how light it is and does really well with grow bags.

I paid for the 2 cu ft bag - what I received was far less than 2 cu feet per bag, closer to 1..... Since this is expensive soil I expected much more volume. The hunt for high quality soil that doesn't rip you off continues...

Really impressed with the quality of this mix. I've tried 4 or 5 different mixes this season and this one has been the best by far! The soil is very light and fluffy with great drainage. There aren't large chunks of wood or sticks like I've found in some other potting mixes. Would highly recommend and plan on purchasing this mix for myself in the future.

The soil is very fine in texture, like I thin mulch. It don’t feel like a traditional ‘dirt’. It comes to you very very dry and is light. I read the packaging and the reviews before purchase, and added water to the soil before planting my plants. Then, I watered heavily afterwards. The soil thickens up nicely, and becomes heavy enough to hold the plant roots. However, it does dry quickly.

I love this product. It’s a potting mix and not a potting soil so it didn’t have any fungus gnats or other pests. It’s very soft and full of coconut coir so you don’t need to mix any in. I added volcanic rock, worm castings and water. I’ve only used it a week and have tomatoes, herbs and flowers popping up from seeds both indoors and out. I also have no bugs.
