I am working on building a greenhouse and from reading the description of this reflective material, I figured it could help me maximize the potential of my grow lights, especially in the winter months. I haven’t finished the greenhouse yet, so to test this theory, I cut a piece of the reflective material and created a small grow tent on the counter and put a lemon tree sapling that I’ve been growing from a seed inside the makeshift grow tent. The results are pretty impressive. I have included a picture of the sampling with the review. When I first set up the mini grow tent on the countertop, the sapling had two leaves on it and was about 3 inches tall. Within a month I’ve gotten this much growth by combining the reflective material with the grow light. I will warn you though, make sure you keep your moisture and temperature right or you may end up burning your plants or causing mold or mildew to grow on them. There is a vapor barrier on the other side of this paper, but you still get moisture inside of the room naturally by watering your plants. This stuff is very thin and very lightweight, making it both easy and difficult to work with depending on the situation. However, I’m confident that it will be beneficial in the greenhouse, and therefore I would recommend this to anyone with a greenhouse or grow light setup that they are trying to use to grow their plants.

Very nice reflective sheeting to use for your indoor plants! I plan on using this for my plants to make a little mini greenhouse in the garage this winter. Rather than having multiple grow lights, I should be able to get by with one or two depending on the size. The reflective material will also help to hold in the warmth. One side is reflective and the other is white, it is not opaque at all. Great product from Viagrow!

This is a lightweight material (2 mil thickness) so don't expect a heavy film. It works great for its intended purpose - to reflect light back, especially in greenhouse and horticultural applications. I used it to line the back of a garden cold frame to keep cold-weather plants alive and green in Ohio winters. Seems to do the trick do far, but can't speak of longevity. I applied it with staples. Cuts easy with a scissors or sharp utility knife.

The Viagrow reflective light diffusing film is pretty great for your grow situation. The product is for indoor use, and is pretty easy to handle. Film cuts pretty well with scissors without being too easy to rip during install. One side is highly reflective, with the other side is a white vapor barrier. Film can be installed with either staples, glue, or tape, and is 2 mil thick.

With an early hard freeze I had to move my seed starting inside for the winter crop. I do the same thing for the spring but I can usually get the winter ones ready before the cold snap. I set up a protected grow box to keep the heat from the heating mat and grow lights around the pots to speed up germination and growth. By keeping the soil warm my starts will be ready faster and I can get some established growth before the days stop warming up. I am limited to what I can grow but having the ability to make custom growing areas expands my options. Next I am making an over wintering area for my citrus trees in pots to keep them safe and producing. With this material one small grow light can keep them happy all winter.

We got this as we wanted to start a garden last year and it worked great. This is heavy duty and a really nice quality. Before we found this product we used those reflective blankets as we didn't know about this. We had such are hard time the blanket material as it tore easily, this VIAGROW is amazing we will be building our little veggie and this time flowers in a few months so that the plants will be ready for planting in the spring. Love having a jump start to veggies and flowers.

This reflective barrier offers light distribution on all sides of your greenhouse area dependant upon placement.

Easy to unroll and doesn't curl at the ends. It is shiny on one side and white on the other side (the vapor barrier). We use our in our basement, when we seed-start in the spring it will surround the grow-light setup we have to maximize the light and heat that it kept in the grow area (and in the basement the seedlings need every leg up they can get!). The quality is great. While it wrinkles easily (no big deal), it doesn't seem to rip easily. However, it's easy to cut with scissors and use in a variety of ways. Overall, we're very happy with this product.

A lightweight film that has many uses. Specifically designed for grow room use to help get more light on plants, I could also see this being a easy to install reflective barrier for RV use! Cut to size and place (or tape) in window to reflect the light/ heat out (in summer)

This film was purchased to be a heat reflector and it works perfectly.

The film is nice and shiny and easy to cut, although easier with 2 people, as it tends to curl up . We are using it to reflect more sunlight on garden plants and trees which need full sun.
