Never received this item. So there’s no way to review it.

Works but stupid design that requires a key to open and close. Key is a weird shaped plastic thing that doesn't have anything written on it to identify it as to what it is. Once the key is lost, the bait station will be useless. Other bait stations we have don't require a key to open. They can be opened by squeezing together a pair of plastic tabs, which is a much better design. We couldn't find that brand when the need for one additional bait station arose so I bought this Victor model. One thing about this bait station that I like it that you can put a snap trap inside of it. The requirement of the key sucks though.

I set up two bate boxes stacked full with these blocks. After 10 days the blocks still looked brand new in the bate box. I have blink cameras in my vegetable garden to spy on the snacking critters. I put a block in the garden and watched three rats sniff the block and walk away. I mixed the bait with peanut butter and still won't eat it. I wanted to buy a smaller box of this in case this happened but this seemed to be the only size available. Will be replacing everything with another brand.

Rats ate through this whole bucket - I regularly saw dust/pieces of this after I put it out, indicating that it was eaten. Never saw a single dead rat. The bucket is empty, and they've been eating it all the way to the end.

Works like a charm. In two weeks I’ve had to refill the bait station twice.

It’s well made and should last for years.

I habe no idea whether the bait station is working…voles live underground so I have no way to tell what is going on. What kind of a rating am I supposed to give?

Used outback of my house, saw 3 dead rats within days. Continuing to use by our trash cans!!!

This stuff in the big Victor bait station is great. And the big pail is nice so you don't run out. With 4 big bait stations out I used up a pail in about 9 months. Nice to order online with free delivery!

The spring in the trap is too stiff, and the rats kept going in them (we bought 3), and just eating the bait without the trap going off. We tried peanut butter in the bait well, as well as the very expensive bait blocks, and all the rats did was have a noisy party all night! Every night, until I had to just remove them, and finally get some sleep! The plain old fashioned rat traps work the best, but we don’t want wandering cats getting trapped so now we need another plan. We’ll be returning these traps.
