The first time used, we put peanut butter in the bait cup and set it next to active vole holes with a bin over the top so larger animals wouldn’t mess with it. The next day, all the peanut butter was cleaned out of the bait cup and the trap had not been tripped. What good is a trap that it’s just a feeder… it doesn’t have the sensitivity to go off when something is eating out of it.

These are much safer and easier to use than the large old fashioned oversized “mouse traps”!

The spring on this trap is way too strong. It is VERY difficult and dangerous to set the trap. I will be returning the trap.

Cheaper and more effective than other more expensive traps.

Watch your fingers and toes for this trap, the snap is amazing but you can hurt yourself.

I bought 6 traps all were tripped nothing in them.

easy to set up got 2 of these set it up next day I got 2 rats, dead and easy to get rid of dead rats. I used peanut butter.

These Victor traps last about three uses before they don’t work well. The tomcat brand often breaks after one use. The tiny plastic parts holding the strong spring against the top of the trap breaks. The victor lasts a few uses before it is difficult to latch them correctly. It’s better than tomcat traps.

They traps are the real deal. Got three rats in 4 days. Easy to set and they have a hair trigger. Where you load the bait is good too. Definitely recommend

Peanut ? butter will get em every time-sturdy trap

I've had success with this model trap in the past, but this particular one is difficult to set (won't catch) and doesn't seem to trigger properly. Normally it triggers when feeding and makes a clean kill on the head/neck, but I've had 3 catches all by the tail or rear leg, necessitating a kill of the wounded animal. I think I'll try to exchange it for another one and see if it works better.

This product exceeds expectations! I live on a farm in Miami Dade and this year for unknown reasons there has been an enormous amount of rat’s ! I have tried everything to eradicate the situation but these rats when to college. Nothing was working until l decided to try Victor traps. WOW! I’m finally winning!! 5 stars ??!!!

Put some mouse attractant paste in the center hole and caught 3 mice in 3 days.

Bought two. One works fine. The other would not set so I threw it away.

It is easy to use, and I have use it and get one rat

Trap is too stiff and doesn’t go off. The rats just get fed every night without any consequences. The old wooden traps are best. Will return these traps (all 3).
