Put this down underneath new mulch 2 prevent weeds in a mulch area around my home.Thought this would be a good investment instead of pulling out weeds /using chemicals 2 kill the weeds.Spent a lot of $ & a lot of time putting this down along w/ the stakes 2 hold it in place. I’m not sure what it does, but it does NOT block weeds at all.I have seen weeds from underneath the fabric be able 2 get the sprout through the fabric and grow easily. I have also seen weed seeds put roots through it. Waste

The only disadvantage is I needed to cut it in 2 foot strips and the raw edge after cutting continues to shred and pull apart.

This product is awesome. A little extra cost but well worth it.

Very Strong material that should block weeds/grass for quite some time.

Used weed barrier for our swampy yard then layed gravel, this is a good strong barrier. We were happy with the ease of use.

Does Not work ! used several rolls and I have weeds & grass growing through it , Waste of money Don’t buy

I put this around several raised garden beds to have a nice pathway between the beds. A few months later and the whole area is weeds. I have to rip up the entire project and put down plastic, I guess. Was hoping to be more environmentally conscious but the weeds grew right through this and the roots cling to the fabric-- making them harder to pull out! Awful.

Works great for doing the edging on my house. Three foot width is perfect, and the middle line is easy to follow with a razor knife, which makes cuts quick and easy!

If I could give this 0 stars I would, this stuff is absolute garbage! I spent 2 entire weekends shoveling rock on top of this worthless “barrier” and now that spring is here, there are more weeds coming through the new rocks than there are in the rest of my yard! Some areas of the rock are completely covered with weeds. What a huge waste of time and money!

I double the weed barrier when I put it down now, much better, the weeds really come through now. They were still coming through before-bummer.

Good stuff for ground coverage.

I've used many weed fabrics for years. This one is the worst for many reasons. It frayed when it was cut. To make matters worse, it's like plastic and is very slippery. I've installed weed fabric on the same slope on that part of my property every five or so years. I kept sliding down the slope, not able to get any traction. Putting down the landscape stones and mulch made no difference as it was still slippery afterwards. I'll have to cut it out and throw it away. It should slide right out from under the landscape materials since it's slippery.

If youre tired of the cheap, fabric-like fabric then please give this a look! It cuts very nicely with a sharp blade and is strong enough to not rip or tear, eapecially when placing it, walking on it, staking it, etc. I am extremely happy with this purchase and look forward to uaing more in future projects.
