I use to spray my machines and equipment with it to keep them from rusting. Now the new formula oxidizes bare metal faster than ever. Officially a terrible product now.

We are sorry to hear about your experience and thank you for taking the time to contact us. WD-40 Multi-Use Product’s formula shouldn’t oxidize bare metal. Make sure you mixes the gallon well before spraying. Even if not mixed, the product does not promote oxidation (rusting).

Car polish
Used this product on a 1978 V.W T2 Campervan as a polish. Was amazed at the speed it took me to complete the whole vehicle. Just spray a panel at a time and just wipe and buff . Excellent shine !

Juice GREAT ~ Can SUCKS!
I buy the Gallon metal can and spray liberally. I've been doing it for decades.
When I refill my spray bottle, I dribble all over the place. Please make a plastic can that pours without making a mess.

SAD Story
I sometimes lose the pressure in a can of WD40. There is still fluid inside but there is no squirt.

Unable to open can
Bought a one gallon can a month ago. Took the cap off, only to find another metal barrier. How do I get past the barrier? Pry it out? Puncture it?

1 gallon can
I just came home with the 1 gal. can of WD-40 and 2 of their spray bottles. Used a funnel to help with the fill, lost about 5 ounces trying. Is there a spout you can get for the can???

Great Value - Need a Gallon Sprayer That Holds Up
I spray the blades and deck on my lawn tractor with WD-40 after every use, so buying it by the gallon is the only way to go! It keeps grass clippings from sticking and prevents rust. After 10 years of mowing, there's not a spec of rust to be found underneath the cutting deck. However, I go through a lot of gallon sprayers because i can't find one that hold up to this stuff. Anyone know of a sprayer that can handle it (and that's affordable)? Thanks.

Great product. Even cleans!
Works well for cleaning and removing unwanted substances on my motorcycle! 1 gallon can has to be used with cap on top to avoid spilling. It is still awkward when trying to fill bottles with a funnel. Can should be redesigned (vent added?)

The title is fine. It says exactly what it is.
This is how I buy all my WD-40 - and I decant it into spray bottles, kept in garage and workshop. As the other reviewer said - the can needs a good pour spout as I always get it on the floor, despite using a funnel. It's not a job I look forward to.

Gallon can needs a decent pour spout
I love WD-40 so I recently purchased the 1-gallon can. It really needs a decent pour spout. I had your product all over myself, the table and the floor. Please recommend something that works with this can!

You can use it for anything
I even use wd40 as fuel for my nitro rc car because it is way cheaper than nitromethane fuel and runs just good with straight wd40 fuel. Love it..
