Nice rich golden color that was easy to apply. I used a 3” roller and a foam brush to apply the finish. After the application was completed, I waited for about 15 minutes before wiping off any excess.

I've never taken a finish back, and probably still won't, but I'll post this review to hopefully manage others' expectations. This looks to be a lot grayer than what is shown on the can, and more of a pigment than a dye. The pigment will fall out readily sitting in the can. I wanted more of a wood tone but they didn't have it in stock at the time. I tried it on a bird feeder, made of pine, that I had pressure washed and sanded down pretty good. I thought it would be enough, but way to much of the orig finish remained in the wood. It was previously finished with a clear coat poly. I would not use this on anything that has been finished with anything other than another oil, unless you take a planer to it. It looked thinner to me than oil I've used in the past, but it is drying. Maybe it will be so ugly the squirrels won't eat it.

I tried this product instead of doing all the work of staining and Spar Polyurethane, since it's and outdoor Coffee Table. The 1st coat the table top was mottled in the worst way, I had to wait 3 days for it to dry out and belt sand out the entire top. The next top coat came out even. I put on 2 more coats, the product dripped down the sides and stuck to the bottom edge, which I to sand out. It been a week and this finish is still sticky and hasn't dried. The worst experience I had after 50 years of building, finishing and refinishing furniture. The biggest waste of time and money I've ever invested in a project.

Nice product. Dries hard quckly. It is important to rub hard to remove excess and work on a very small area or it will harden and behave more like a polyurethane finish. Despite the name, this isnt what one might think of as an "oil" finish.

Bought this to refresh an outdoor teak table that had been stored indoors over the winters. Table was only about 6 years old and it took about 6 coats to bring the teak back. Not sure what the suspension agent is for the oil, guessing perhaps a mineral spirit but within about an hour of the 3 coats, table looked almost untreated. It looked great when it you first put it on, but dried to a fain't color of what it started as. The attached picture is in the middle of the first application. I did not take a photo of an hour later - should have.

Thank you for sharing your experience using our Watco Teak Oil. Our Teak Oil does use mineral spirits as a solvent, to allow the oil to deeply penetrate teak and other dense woods. It sounds like the teak may have been very dry, and absorbed more of the oil than is normal. When this occurs, the Teak Oil may be applied more heavily to the surface, and also given more time to penetrate and seal the wood prior to wiping the surface to remove the excess oil. Rustoleum

Product was simple to use, but left wood in worse condition than before I started. Will have to do it again, with a product that will restore s smooth surface. Call me UNhappy.

That is not what we like to hear! Our Clear Matte Teak Oil is a penetrating protective oil that is intended for dense woods such as teak, rosewood or mahogany. The wood should be sanded to obtain a smooth finish prior to flooding the surface with the Teak Oil, which must be worked into the wood using a lint free cloth. Rustoleum

Results look great
We used this on weathered teak doors. After cleaning and sanding the wood, we applied two coats of the Watco teak oil and results were terrific. Nice golden, natural-looking finish. Definitely would recommend.

Works Wonders on Weathered Wood Furniture!
I have used this product for many years and have always been very pleased with the results and with the value for the money. I just prepped and treated my patio table and chairs this morning the they look like new as the attached "before and after" photo clearly shows. This patio set is about 20 years old and thanks to Watco Teak Oil, it continues to look great on our deck.

Looks Great
The quart at Home Depot was definitely the best value over other home improvements stores that sell the pint. Wish I had come to Home Depot first! Like all teak oil, easy to apply with a cheap "chip brush". The wood soaked up the oil nicely. I was given some high quality weathered chaise loungers. With a little sanding and applying the oil, they look brand new. Beautiful finish.

High quality, easy to apply finish for wood furniture
Watco Teak oil is an easy to apply finish creating an outstanding luster in the wood. Three coats on my newly constructed printer cart produced a stunning product with a durable topcoat.

This one step product worked well. It remains a bit sticky 24 hours after application. The color of my bench is a dark grey now which I wasn’t expecting.

The absolute best product for teak furniture I have ever used. It is easy to apply and looks terrific. Its best quality is its durability. It doesn’t fade out within 3-4 months as do most teak products. I refinish every year, and this product only slightly degrades between applications. It really protects the wood.

The stain element wasn’t as heavy as I hoped. It added very little color.

The color was supposed to be Flagstone, but was completely grey. I called Rustoleum regarding the issue.

Thanks for sharing your experience using Rust-Oleum Watco Teak Oil. Different types of wood species may achieve different looks, therefore, a test application is always a good idea. Make sure to shake the container thoroughly prior to application to ensure the product is evenly dispersed.

Easy to use. Lightly sanded the surface, removed all the dust, and applied following the instructions, and the results were great! Table top looks new again, with a very smooth finish.
