Replacement Part
Called to say the regulator was leaking gas. Sent a photo of tank gasket to prove not a tank issue. Weber refused to replace the regulator on a grill that is $650 with tax. Poor customer service.

Hi, thank you for sharing your feedback. We recommend borrowing a proven LP tank you know works from a friend, family member, or neighbor to rule out your LP tank as the source of the issue. We always recommend doing this before replacing any parts on the grill itself. Examining the LP tank gasket before hooking up your hose and regulator and using your grill is essential. Disappointed
We are 25 year Weber customers. Our last grill, a Genius purchased about 25 years ago, we donated when we moved across country and someone else is now cooking on it. We were downsizing and opted to buy a Spirit this year, 2024. I can't tell you how disappointed I was to find out that Weber decided this year to leave the back off of this grill...could it have been cost cutting? Let me say I would have been happy to have paid extra for the back. Every time it rains, the drip pan gets full of water. Nothing can be stored inside the door. What on earth could Weber have been thinking. I'm guessing it was a bean counter and not a designer or user. How best to disappoint a 25 year customer? Just ask finance. Does anyone know how to retrofit it and put a back on? Thank you!

Purchased assembled in-store, missing hardware
I bought an assembled Weber grill at HD at my wife’s suggestion. I usually don’t trust someone else assembling something for me, but the wife gets what she wants. I got the grill home and went through the assembly instructions. If someone assembled it, I make sure everything was done according to the assembly instructions. Right off, I noticed all the wheel casters (4) had only 2 screws installed. There should be 4 per caster. So in total, 8 screws are missing.

Good grill but back panel is not full sized
The back panel is not the full size. The pictures that they should in the pictures are not what they actually ship, the backside has about an 18inch gap now. Why Weber has changed the design I have no idea, we buy your product because of the quality and it’s disappointing to see you cutting corners.

It’s ok…:but…
I replaced an older Spirit 3 burner with this in stainless. It’s a pretty nice grill that heats up fast but honestly it was pricey. And to top it off… The grill lid has two quarter sized round stains in the metal which look terrible. The dealer said that it’s normal with these grills but for the, price I expected more. (Also, the dealer said my rotisserie attachment from my old grill would not work with the new grill so that went right into the trash).

Inferno of heat
Had it for a week, cooked steak and pork chops. Replaced my old SS Jenn Air which was too large for today. Made a few changes. No idea why the cabinet has a giant hole in the bottom, covered it up with new sheet metal so brushes and such do not fall out. Did not find an option to get a half grate, half griddle on this unit, so I bought a drop in replacement. For this much cost I would expect a more robust burner design, the pipe with saw cuts design has never lasted on prior grills, even the Jenn-Air with real stainless steel tubes. Hardware assembly with screws instead of bolts and nuts was a little disappointing. Seems over priced.

Ordered new but I got open box
I ordered new Weber grill and today they did delivery. They bring assembled (I didn't ask for that) with price tag. They bring one from the floor wich everyone slam and kick for price like new.

After 10 years of use my previous Spirit was in need of replacing. I like the few upgrades in design for the better. Gets up to temperature quickly and cooks very well.

Delivery
I purchased this grill and am happy with the grill but its damages and it so dusty, I was told that delivery was delayed because they had to put it together, so how is it so dusty.

Don’t buy from Home Depot.
This is an amazing looking grill. But I haven’t used it yet. What had happened was…I bought this grill for my husband for his bday. It finally arrives pre assembled as I had set up. But it’s damaged. And it’s dusty and it has the price tag still on it. Turns out, my local Home Depot sent me the floor model because they didn’t have a new grill assembled. Can you imagine purchasing a brand new grill for your husband and it arrives dented, dusty, with the price tag still on it???

Rusty.
We purchased this grill 7 1/2 years ago, It works well, but it has rusted out on the bottom of the frame. I thought purchasing a stainless steel grill we would not have any rust issues but as you can see it rusted out. I would like to purchase a new grill but Concerned about the rusting. This was our second Weber grill very pleased with the first one.

Wrong Back Plate
I purchased and assembled the Spirit 315 5/27 only to find out that I beieve the back plate is incorrect. Did they reduce the size of the back plate? I have looked at photos and they all seem to be larger than this one. I also have 2 screw holes on the back that were not used. Now what do I do? I have fully put together. Don't necessarily want to disassemble to retun it.

Though the assembly guide does not reflect this change, the new design supports the shorter and longer rear panels. Your opinion is very important to us, and we truly value your feedback. Disappointed
I purchased this grill expecting it in a box so it could be brought in a SUV to my mothers for Mother’s Day and it was delivered all assembled with a piece of plastic over it and I know UPS didn’t assemble it nor did I check the box for assembly. Now it has to be taken apart and put in the back of a vehicle to be transported.

Grilling
The Weber S315 grill is a good value priced grill. It is solidly built with stainless steel components and heavy cast iron grates. However , I was somewhat disappointed and concerned that the rear panel of the base cabinet is very short leaving the cabinet wide open to the elements. Other Weber models have a significantly larger rear panel.

Product itself is great. But delivery was terrible. Bought online, but first item was defective floor model with store tags, missing knob and proper grill plates. Second attempt delivered a grill assembled with a 5 inch crack in the metal!
But both times customer service was above great to pickup and return. Finally replaced with a boxed item perfect. Easily assembled by me.

Solid as you would expect from a Weber Grill.
I've had this grill for about 2 months and it's clear that weber spends time making a better product. From the gas weight monitor, the placement of the battery (out of the weather) to the back ignition for the other burners. You can see the quality and time put into making a weber be solid and thoughtful.
Temperature control is easy to do and so far I haven't had a huge flare up with anything I've cooked including drumsticks with skin on.

Be careful ordering online
I just put the grill together and it took me about 3 hours , Webers are usually great grills. I just wanted to warn people about ordering online. Paid $565 for a brand new grill that has dents/damage on the bottom frame. I regret not purchasing it in store already set up!

Weber Fan but pass on the Spirit
As can be seen in other reviews the Spirit does not hold up after a few years. Mine is 3 years old and the frame is out of warranty. The design allows water to pool at the base and the base and side panels are rusting away. I replaced the flavorizer bars as they rusted and the burner assembly rusted as well. Weber is providing a burner assembly under warranty but the side panels / base are not covered. This is my 4th Weber and overall I like the brand but recommend a pass on the Spirit.

Rusting after 4 months
The stainless steel on this item is not up to Weber standards. Started rusting after just a few months. Of course it was outside of the return window. Called Weber customer service and they told me this was normal.

Rust
I bought this $619 Weber grill on June 14, 2023 and had the store assemble it. I also bought the $90 Weber cover. The coating underneath the inside top of the grill almost immediately began to peel away. To add insult to injury, I just noticed rust on one of the stainless steel shelves today (almost 6 months since the day of purchase). It has been meticulously cared for and covered when not in use. What happened to Weber quality? I expected more for a $700 investment.

It's very common to see a substance on the inside of your grill lid that looks like peeling or flaking paint, or some sort of finish that is delaminating. This peeling or flaking substance will be paper thin, black, and glossy on one side and matte on the other, and is known as carbonized grease. We recommend treating exterior grill corrosion as soon as it appears with a cleaner/inhibitor Bar Keeper’s Friend and then cleaning with our stainless steel polish. Great grill but advise against the stainless steel
This is a good, compact grill that heats up really well and cooks evenly. I was disappointed that the hood tarnished, I’m guessing from the heat of the grill, within a couple of months. I’d advise getting one of the colored hood models of the same grill.
