I'm using the yellow Westinghouse Extendable Ceiling Fan Brush 77055. It's a neat product. I use it to dust other things besides a ceiling fan. However, one drawback....I don't know how to keep the extension pole extended. It tends to go back in and shorten it's length. Any ideas on how to keep the pole extended while using it?

This ceiling fan brush was used to remove dust from a ceiling fan in the master bath. The dust was difficult to remove due to the use of a heavy duty hair spray over a long period of time. However, this fan brush did the job with just a couple of swipes. Worried about the stiffness of the brush but it was needed to remove the hairspray build up and did not damage the blades in any way.

Happy with performance of this product. I would tell a friend.

This brush is intended to slide over ceiling fan blades to remove the dust. I have fans in all bedrooms and in the den in my house and they do get dusty. I found this brush to be good at getting the dust off regular fan blades. I gave it a 4 star rating because it can be difficult to get the brush over the end of the blades. This brush will do no good on the new blades that are large and varied in their shape and size. I have this type in one bedroom. These blades you just have to get up on a ladder and wipe down by hand. There is a fan blade brush that I have seen that is adjustable and is not a closed loop, so you can clean these oddly shaped blades.

Worked great to clean all my fans, easy to store and clean off after use.
