Worked perfectly for my park bench project. It remains to be seen how well the polymer stands up to everyday use, or fading. Be aware that the coating adds to the dimensions of the lumber. I was pleasantly surprised that the end caps came with the order. I don't remember seeing that indicated in the description. See picture. Yes this is now my dock bench.

I bought three of these with the intention of cutting them in half to build a bench. I contacted the supplier trying to purchase an additional 3 end caps with no response. A few days after the install, and the plastic covering is warping.

Not what I thought it would be. It did not look like cedar.

is soft and can be cut or scratched--you wouldn’t want to use this product in a public or institutional setting. The end caps are a bit awkward, and I’ve ended staining most of the exposed ends. The polymer retracted 1/8” from the end of wood after cutting initially—subsequent cuts didn’t do that. Has only been in weather for a month or so—still TBD how the polyurethane coating responds to UV and other environmental factors over time.

Great product for privacy fence around hot tub.

Wood was warped and the poly film was lumpy...my client wouldn’t allow me to use it

It’s amazing how far Home Depot goes in NC instead of just having regular cedar 2x4’s available. I can’t imagine what buyer decided this was the solution. May be good for backing fencing but don’t try using this for any conventional deck structure. Heavy, vinyl clad and capped with ugly end caps.

I think it is an excellent innovative product. Less costly than composite and lower maintenance than bare wood. I am slowly redoing my deck railing with these and so far so good!

We used this to build benches for our church pavilion. Worked great.
