Bought as a replacement. My last closer bent in a strong wind. Got the heavy duty one this time. Used the same brackets and it slid right in.

Works good with the heavy metal door, but wont pull it hard enough to shut all the way unless you adjust it to where it slams. Still works decent either way.

Works well new. We'll see how well it ages.
I could have been less worried about getting my attachment points to the millimeter. The product is purposely engineered with a bit of looseness in the connections, so it tolerates a little imperfection under "real world" conditions.

This retractor is so weak, it leaves a 1/8” gap on my door.
Spend a little more and get a better quality!
