Poor performance: auger clutch cable keeps getting loose while using the snow blower. Not as powerful as advertised!

Very bad experience, the box was delivered was very badly damaged it was missing pieces, I did go to Home Depot and got the replacement pieces , but then one of the cables had come disconnected I watch YouTube on how to take it apart and reconnect the cable but then during a blizzard I was so happy to use it for the first time I went to pull the cord and it pulled right out of the machine I took it back and got my money back, this was on a weekend and their service department does not help any on the weekends so their customer support is pretty much useless on the weekend

Pull handle broke on first pull. Other than that its a great machine at a good price.

This product shipped quickly and works exactly as stated. We were very happy with our purchase!

Bought during this winter and only out it to start once. At least 2 or 3 times would not start. Brand new machine.

Overall is ok. Cables need better adjustment. Chute adjustment reach is low. You will need to lubricate moving parts, none appears as stated in the directions.

Easy to assemble. And easy to use

Overall product was easy to assemble few issues product has no air filter called manufacturer said you do not need one any gas engine that mixes with air should have air filter also without the unit running hard to maneuver because of clicking which might come from gearbox

Good instructions, pretty easy to assemble. Started right up, no problem. Not too big. Works perfect for our needs, great purchase.

Garbage on first one I ordered. Got it all put together, filled it up with gas and oil, started it up, started doing my driveway for about 10 minute, it gave out loud backfire and shutoff. Couldn't get it start again.

The snow blower was easy to assemble. It took just over a hour. The directions are clear and all parts are clearly labeled including which size socket you will need. I used the blower the same day for 3" of wet snow and it handled the snow better than expected. I like the smaller blower because it is easy to handle. I received the blower in 3 days which exceeded my expectations and UPS delivered into my garage.

Ok so yesterday I put my review up on auger not spinning out of BOX! Today 18 inches of snow , after re tightening of belt with pulley and the guide , auger spun roughly , used today on snow and does work however does not throw snow more then 4ft and you have to go slow , also only plow half lines of snow so machine doesn’t get clogged. If your not mechanically inclined , don’t buy ! Or it’s a gamble , and how are you gonna return it after you put together , rent a truck? I’m sure some machines prob do work but like I said it’s a gamble according to other reviews and mine

Obviously put together perfectly, Blizzard tomorrow in Long Island ! Took belt housing off and noticed belt is so loose and looks too big , tried to adjust as much as possible , I have got auger spinning after an hour but have a feeling as soon as I encounter alittle of resistance of snow it prob gonna look at me and laugh ! There’s no way it can have enough torque, will see tomorrow I’ll post with pictures

bought the yardmax 5 ton electric woodsplitter to do kindling a few years ago and was very impressed with it. I own a firewood business and plan to buy a large splitter from them after helping a friend do his firewood with one a few months ago.the power of there splitters is amazing compared to other splitters on the market. Back to the snowblower though I live in the center of the snow belt and am so far quite impressed with this 22 inch snow blower. Am a firm believer that the easier you are on something the longer it last but this thing doesn't care what you push it into. I need to do some adjustments on it skid shoes etc. But so far it does a pretty good job

Broke after about 6 weeks use

Would not buy again. Works alright but doesn’t go fast enough even in top speed and seems lopsided. Also holding the handles down almost makes your hands go numb.

showed up missing bolts which is always a red flag. fast forward to 3 months later, today and our first snow storm. barely made it 5 feet before it had to be taken apart because there's an issue with a belt. Would never ever recommend this piece of trash product.

Had a huge snow storm. Went to use it and the air filter contents were missing, never thought to look inside it, didn’t think i had to look. Spark plug blew. Not happy. Bought online

Can't rate this item yet.... Haven't had Any snow or see any in near future...... Shipping box was damaged, oil leakage, but no damages to snowblower.

Instructions to put together not good! Started and worked good 3 times now it won’t start. Going to take it back to the store.

Excellent service from the Sears people at the pick up desk. The snow blower was easy to assemble as the instructions were very clear. I’m completely satisfied with this machine’s performance, particularly in heavy snow.
