First this beautiful microwave is just that! This product is a safety hazard. It has electrical sparks we thought were from the plate itself so we replaced the plate twice over a period of time. Now the microwave is spitting electrical currents through the back in both sides of the microwave causing burn holes from one corner inside to another. Major safety issues!!!

I'm so happy to finally get rid of my countertop microwave and build one into my lower cabinet in the island! It looks amazing, so efficient and powerful! It auto opens and closes, easy to access and heats evenly.

My appliance arrived on time as promised. I picked it up and waited for the installation by my kitchen remodelers, it turned out beautiful as i expected. I’m very pleased by my purchase. Thank you. I appreciate the follow up.

Is it possible to love a microwave? …it is beautiful and solid. We feel lucky to have found it. It adds artistry to our kitchen esthetic. In a world where quality is dive-bombing, we feel we landed a lock.

I was a bit reluctant on having a microwave drawer, but I love it! Very smooth to operate and open and close. Looks great!

I’ve had this microwave for about a month now and it works and looks great. The body was slightly wider and shorter than the opening in my microwave cabinet but it took only a little bit of trimming to fit it in perfectly. We waited five years to get this microwave and couldn’t be more satisfied.

Beware, product does not appear to match advertising and will NOT fit standard 24" base cabinets. Most microwave drawers have a recessed section on the rear to accommodate electrical receptacles. ZLine claims this as well, especially since their product picture appears to show a slightly recessed corner on the top left. This clearly DOES NOT EXIST as shown in my pictures. The product description, manual and even FAQs also claim that the microwave fits into a 24" base, and it clearly doesn't.

I cannot say enough about this product and Zline customer service! On my first microwave I had an issue and got a personal phone call on how to fix it along with an email. TWO years later, I had a different issue and they replaced the microwave!!!! This microwave is so much better and the drawers go in and out more fluently and quieter. I love it 😁

I bought this and the whole autograph edition appliances after remodeling my kitchen and the look and performance of all of them exceeded my expectations. The stove cooks much better than more expensive stoves. The microwave is sleek and heats up food very well, and the fridge and dishwasher is very luxurious looking as well. And all for an amazing price!

I am so happy with this microwave drawer and gets a lot of usage in our house. From warming up leftovers, trays of food for entertaining, and of course my kids love using the popcorn button. The black stainless steel is stunning and always get complements on it from guest. Very happy with this microwave drawer.

We updated our entire kitchen with Zline appliances and we are so glad we did! This microwave is gorgeous - it elevates the aesthetic of our kitchen to the luxury kitchen level I was going for. It’s very user friendly and since it’s a drawer, we were able to install it lower in line with our countertops to be more easily accessible and create cleaner lines in our kitchen. Would order again!

Recently installed my zline microwave drawer. What a game changer. No need to reach high to get hot dishes and cups out, nor an ugly appliance on your countertop. The drawer slides open and closed quietly and the microwave operates efficiently.

We are so happy to have gotten our microwave in a drawer and out of sight lines! It’s really pretty and has some nifty settings to book say popcorn etc. I only wish it had more than a 30-sec button cuz if it’s not adding in 30 seconds increments then you must push time cook the allotted time then start which is kinda more than we are used to. I know, it sounds petty but wish there was a 1 & 2 min button for quick reheats. Otherwise perfect!

After a year and a half the kicrowave has cinomwtely atopped heating. I spent $1300 on this thing.

We LOVE the drawer and how big and smooth this drawer is. Love having it off a counter and no drop in our cabinets-really leaves all counters and cabinets to look their best! Functionality is nice but we do not love that there is only a 30 sec button and not an easy way to say punch in for 3 minutes cook...it takes more than our other microwaves. We will be used to this quickly and otherwise we have NO Complaints! Really love the durasnow.

To be fair. I researched for months and every microwave drawer has issues in all brands. Zline had the least and most appealing. First one arrived May 2022, never turnedon. Customer service following trouble shooting ordered a replacement. #2 has been working great and started arching, sparking, smelling of electrical burn all of a sudden. Have now requested a replacement as it is still under manufacturers warranty. Waiting for response. I will post update review later. 3x's a charm!

Microwave is beautiful fit in the 30” island cabinet. No issues. I wish the trim piece came in black stainless. So we trimmed out with the hickory instead. So many compliments on all the Z-Line pieces.

Still finishing new kichen but installed micro and it heats up really well, like angled panel, easier to read. A hole light up panel would be nice!

I was unsure about buying such an expensive microwave, but it just makes since for an island. I had a counter top mocrowave previously and this looks so much nicer and is easier on the back. It works great and is easy to operate. Its only been a month but so far so good. I have noticed if i have something cooking for 10 minutets condensation starts to drip down the trim around the microwave. I think extra venting would be helpful for that. The measurements are off like other reviews had mentioned so I would wait until you get the microwave in to do any trim work around it.

Love this microwave. My oven/stove is in front of a window, so no room for a hood. Hate countertop microwaves, perfect solution

A bit difficult to install. The door thickness plus handle is wide, and if aligned to the cabinet, it would have stuck out a bit from the countertop. Adding some cabinet trim on the inside of the cabinet frame, I was able to slide the microwave in a bit, and close out the opening. The door is slightly lower than the bottom of the microwave, so I had to shim the microwave to get the door to close. It works great and looks nice. Easy to use. Overall, I'm happy with the purchase. If I had to do it over, I'd probably buy a drawer microwave with a trim kit.

Bought the zline black stainless microwave drawer to go in my center island. It is beautiful with white cabinets. Works great. The only negative is that it has had condensation every time I heat something, so I have to wipe the water out after every use. This may be due to ventilation in the island. The upside is my microwave always stays clean!

We unfortunately had a very negative experience with the product and the customer support around the product. The product had a defect that the door would not recognize that it was closed when it was closed. We called customer support they got back to us and were aware of the issue but didn't offer any support outside of we are aware of the door manufacturer issue. We are going to return this product and probably go with a different company since they can't seem to have any idea how to resolve or know if any of their other models are defected. It is too bad because it is an otherwise really nice looking microwave but the fact that the company knew there was an issue and doesn't have any sort of recall setup or customer support setup is a really bad sign.

Received today. Make sure you are aware that this microwave is not a standard size opening. Although it is a standard width 24 inch (with a rough opening on 22 1/8 and overlapping sides to give some wiggle room), the rough opening height is 14 13/16, which is smaller than most. There is no overhang lip on the bottom and only a minimal 1/4 inch at most on the top so your maximum opening to not have gaps is about 15 inches. I had to use a 3/4 inch piece of cabinetry to fill the void. You can see it in the picture. It should be hidden by the counter overhang. Probably not an issue if you are designing your cabinets to accommodate this beforehand. Get the installation manual from Zline or find it only. Will update the function after using it but it is very nice looking and was extremely well packaged and a good value relative to other drawer microwaves.
