Best molding removal tool
I have tried multiple pry bars and various wedges to remove molding. This makes it such an easy job. Will not be without one in the future.

        Worked great for flooring project
The Zenith Trim Puller works great. It is heavy duty and very durable. The handle is large and comfortable. The head is 4 inches wide and worked great on both the floor trim and the carpet tack strips. Much better than my 1.5-inch pry bar. Worked great and will last a lifetime

Now I get to patch a hole in the wall too!
Bought this to remove basic pine baseboards to avoid needing to patch holes in the wall from removal with previous tools. First baseboard came off with some minor scuffing of the wall. Not thrilled, but better than a hole. On my second baseboard removal the tool went through drywall instead of prying the baseboard off. Baseboard stayed firmly set to the wall, and the tool went through the drywall instead. I had better luck with a regular thin prybar and a long bracing board to spread force across a much larger area. Waste of $30 and I will be returning when I buy the materials to complete my new project... Patching a hole in the wall.

            Destroyed my drywall
I really do not understand how this product received such great reviews. Based on the reviews, I bought this to remove the baseboards in a small bedroom. Thus far, it has completely ruined my drywall and now I'll have to do a bunch of drywall repair prior to putting up my new baseboards. This is super annoying. I definitely do not recommend and will be returning this item to the store. I'm sure I'll have better luck with my utility knife and oscillating tool.

I'm not sure why this thing is 30 DOLLARS, but I bought it anyway based on the fantastic reviews... and I'm not sure I'd say it's "worth it" but it did not disappoint. We removed all the baseboards and some trim in a couple rooms within minutes, with just one little ding in the drywall as we got the hang of it. If you're looking for an easier, faster, and more gentle tool than your typical pry bar, just swallow the price and buy this thing!

This baseboard/molding remover is amazing! I've started some DIY projects at home and in preparation was researching how to remove baseboards. There were cheaper products such as a crowbar, which can damage walls, but I decided to spend a bit more on this after reading reviews. I am extremely happy with this product! Pulled old baseboards and moulding off with little work and absolutely no damage/dents in my drywall.

                    Easy and Effective
My husband and I bought a bit of a fixer upper. We’ve been working on ripping up the baseboards and tack strips and ripping down all the trim around the doors and windows. After using a pry bar and hammer, we had chunks of damaged drywall and it was taking us forever to get little sections done. My dad suggested this tool. I have never done anything like this before, but this tool makes it fool proof. Seriously, it’s so easy. Doesn’t damage the drywall and makes it much more time efficient. Trim came off easily, with little effort and could be used again if we wanted. Highly recommend!

I’ve been using two long handled Bully Tools to remove old vinyl flooring. This Zenith trim puller is the perfect complement to pry off those in tight areas, or to get them loosened enough to finish up with the floor bully. I’m 100% satisfied with the products and with the great customer service I received when picking them up.

I bought this based on others' online reviews. It seemed expensive, but it is really solid and works beautifully--much better than crowbars or scrapers. The knife-sharp blade easily gets under the trim, and its broad blade creates virtually no damage or breakage as the leverage provided by the handle works its magic.

I bought this about 9 months ago and thought it was a good time to do a review of it. Many folks review items after only using it once or a short period of time, but after a few months of use the Trim Puller has proved to be much more useful than I first thought! I've originally used this tool to take off inside window trim and baseboard and it did a great job, l was able to reuse the trim work which saved me a whole lot of time & money as it was stained with 3 coats of poly. I've also used it for taking up tackless carpet strips, but I should mention I also had to use a small 6" pry bar in some areas, but for the most part this tool did the trick and didn't damage the oak floors under the carpet. (yes you read that right, someone covered up the beautiful oak floors with carpet! LOL) Another project was removing cedar shingles, and it worked well for that pulling up 2 at a time. When installing new base cabinets I used it to lift the cabinet to insert a shim, using it more like a pry bar. In conclusion, It's a solid well made & designed tool and can be used for many different jobs not just trim work, and belongs in every DIY & pro carpenters tool chest.

A great tool for removing baseboard and quarter round. It also is fantastic for removing those nasty carpet tack strips. I just lined up the notch in the middle with the nail in the strip and wacked it under it and it lifted the nail out of the concrete with minimal damage to the floor. It is not made of the strongest metal so after I was done I needed to file smooth the edges where I hit it against some metal carpet stips that used stronger nails. As you can see from the picture it took a beating but it got the job done and it will be as good as new with after some filing.

Worked great. Didn't mark up the wall or edge of trim when hammering in behind the baseboard. Be care when rocking side to side to loosen the trim that it doesn't rub top of the baseboard or dent the drywall. We put new floor in 4 rooms and used this tool to remove baseboard in all the rooms. Went faster than I expected.

                        Great Invention!
I wish I had taken action video or pictures, but we got so caught up in using it, that we forgot about it. The bonus that I was not expecting is that the package includes a thumb drive (see pic) with video demonstration, website info., and other stuff! Some things it can be used for that I didn't know until I watched the video are: pulling up carpet tac strips, pulling off wall tile, prying off countertops, carefully pulling out damaged wood planks from existing hardwood floors; and it can even be used as a temporary small jack so you can fit your shims under cabinets. The product does work really well, as advertised. It did not damage any walls as we pulled off tons of baseboard, quarter round, chair rail, crown molding, and even wood paneling. We did not use it for the carpet tac strips as mentioned above, only because that would have required being on hands and knees. Used our long upright tool for that instead. My ONLY complaint is that we had to pry two solid oak cabinets apart, that were nailed to each other. I was really hoping this tool could do it without damaging the wood. Alas, even being extra careful, and not prying too hard, we did slightly damage the edges of the one cabinet we were pushing against (hence my reason for the 4-stars, which I would have preferred to give 4-1/2 stars). However, that was kind of an unfair test, as the cabinets were nailed together to last, and it only did a small amount of damage. Any other device we could have used, would have done much worse, so I am happy with the results. Really, this tool is a must have for any DIY'er or a professional!

                        Perfect tool
The trim puller does exactly what it promises: removes trim intact with minimal effort and without damaging drywall. The tool is very easy to use, requiring only a hammer. It works by wedging itself behind the trim while sliding along the wall compared with standard methods where you end up prying a putty knife or crowbar behind the trim causing the tip of the tool to push into the drywall and resulting in a new project of having to patch the wall. I used this tool to remove door trim in order to repair a pocket door and also removed baseboard in hallway. All trim pieces came off fully intact. Really a must have tool if you do any trim work at all.

                        Great addition to your toolset
Trim Puller Multi-Tool is a great addition to your toolset. It makes it easy to take down the molding or siding. The design of the tool is such that once the you wedge the tool in the siding, molding then the notch pushes the molding out while getting deeper in the space. This double action of the tool does not requires you to pull the molding out as that gets taken care of by the pressure of the notch, all you need to do is hammer it from the top. It makes the job of taking out the old molding or trim super easy. I really like it.,

                        Just a trim puller?
For the cost of a couple simple hand tools, you can have something that does the job of several. This trim puller does so much more than it was designed to do, from removing old flooring and tiles to a wide variety of nails. The edge is sharp and prevents damage to the wall and trim, allowing for a clean, quick, and easy extraction. It digs right in and creates a large gap with its wedged center, safely pulling off any trim with its wide contact area. I've been at a few jobs where the trims need to be re-used, are a custom design, or are a special order product, therefore leaving very little options for mistakes due to their limited availability or pricing. One great thing about this tool is that the edge is so sharp, you can remove tile, mortar, linoleum, laminate, hardwood, glues, and other debris off of your work surface. The handle is made of a dense rubber material, so it absorbs a lot of hammer shock, leaving your hands feeling better at the end of a long work day. It can be hung anywhere in your garage or shop, but it's definitely something I would keep close in a tool bag or on a belt, as you never know when you're going to need it as a heavy-duty temporary shim. This is also a nice separator for any type of cabinet work or woodwork in general. The metal on this thing is so thick that I'm sure it'll support heavy items such as a small framed wall or beacon, making a necessary space for a temporary fix. The possibilities are really endless with what you could use this thing for, so I'll leave that to your imagination.

Well made, solid tool with great design
This tool is very solid and feels good in the hand. It is simple to use, just insert it at the top edge of the trip or board that you wish to pull off and tap the top with a hammer. The tool has a beveled edge and a tab that then separates the trim from the wall as it goes in deeper. The company offers a satisfaction money back guarantee on the tool which is refreshing to see.

                        The Real Deal
After having previously spent time using combinations of pry bars and spackle knives in attempts to remove molding and trim without damaging either the trim or the wall it was mounted to, the first time using the Trim Puller was a real... "why didn't I think of that " moment ! One of the rare times when a tool performs exactly as advertised. Along with the tool, which is a well made, heavy duty item, a flash drive is provided, showing other uses for the tool, including removing floor tiles and counter tops and a suggestion to cut a line through any paint covering the trim and wall prior to use of the tool. If I were to use it for a counter-top, I would probably use two trim pullers to avoid over stressing the counter top. Use of protective eye-wear is advisable, as you are striking metal on metal. A tap, a hit and a twist, and the trim was easily separated from the wall, with no damage to either.

A great investment for any rennovator
Before I discovered this tool, I was pulling trim off with various tools depending on the size of the trim. They all had one thing in common - they damaged the wall, the trim, or both (usually both). I put this tool to the test in a bedroom that I am renovating with various sorts of trim. To my surprise, it worked for each type of trim fantastically - baseboard, vertical inside corner trim, floor trim. After removing the carpet I tried the tool on those pesky tack strips that I usually blow to pieces with my wonder bar - it cleanly removed those as well! It is easy on the hands and cut the time required to do a job like this by 3-4x. Probably twice as fast in the removal and there is ZERO touch-up work needed on the walls or trim! Just paint. This $30 tool on my first job saved me a few hours of work.

                        Purpose-Specific Design
Over the years, I've used everything including stiff-bladed putty knives, flat wonder bars, and wrecking bars for removing flooring, baseboards, tile, siding .... They all worked to some degree or another, but their use was always an adaptation to some degree. For the most part, the Trim Puller Multi-Tool can replace them all due to its design. I used it for pulling baseboard, carpet tack strips, and a small area of glue-down parquet flooring in preparation for flooring replacement project. A video included with the tool on a thumb drive also shows removal of ceramic tile, separating framing lumber, ... Since the Wonder Bar was my "go to" tool for removal jobs, I've included photos to highlight feature that, in my opinion, make the Trim Puller superior: 1) Slightly shorter than flat Wonder Bar, but Trim Puller handle provides better grip and comfort when leverage is needed 2) Trim Puller head is nearly 3-times the width of that on the Wonder Bar reducing damage to surfaces (wall, subfloor, ...) behind the item being removed 3) Trim Puller head has a built-in wedge reducing the amount of leverage the operator needs to apply 4) Trim Puller head is ~1/2" deeper than that of the Wonder Bar, so it reaches to the bottom of the trim being removed and reduces the potential for trim splitting when leverage is applied Ergonomically, the Trim Puller weighs about the same as the Wonder Bar and feels really solid in use. I would recommend this product.

AMAZING tool for removing baseboard and casing, better than any pry bar
I've been using a few pry bars to remove the baseboards and door/window casing in my house over the past two years, and invariably I crack or damage the drywall doing so. The original casings in my house are real wood and have dozens of long crown staples that make them a pain to remove. The only way I've been able to remove them without damage is to first cut the wood casing with a multi-tool so that I don't have to pry against the stubborn crown staples. When I saw this tool, I instantly wanted it--the value is obvious for anyone who has had to rip off baseboards and casing. The extra width of the Trim Puller makes it so much better than the typical narrow pry bar, and the long sharp beveled edge makes it easy to get between the baseboard and wall. The large rubber handle is easy to grip, and the tool is very solid and easy to use. What a fantastic design. I would recommend checking out the Trim Puller YouTube videos they have made showing how to use this tool--they even show how you can use it to raise cabinets for shimming. So it can be used for several other purposes besides just removing baseboard. If you have to remove baseboard, molding, or need a wide pry bar to separate things, this tool is awesome. I wish I would have had this 2 years ago. It works so much better and faster than my pry bars and avoids damage, so it is well worth the cost considering the time you'll save and the wall repairs you won't have to make. Fantastic tool.
