Giving up on the mop...
Like others, I was an original adopter of this product. It worked (just) OK for a while on our wood floors, primarily on a weekly basis. Again as others noted, the unit looks like it is fully charged, however when turned on to operate, It may go about 5 feet and then the red light comes on and the unit "dies". Charge it again (and again), without luck - it's useless. Truly love my Roomba vacuum which has not faltered in over 3 years, but this mop - no such experience. Don't buy.....

    This robot does what it's supposed to but cannot navigate
    This robot, unlike my vacuum, cannot go over normal transitions. If I want it to do more than my kitchen (mind you my whole house is on one floor and all hard surface) I have to pick it up and start the mop from the unit anywhere I have transition. It will not go over normal transitions which makes it more of a pain than a blessing. I would not recommend you buy this unless your floors are 100% flat all the way through where you want it to mop.

      Needs work
      Cleans well but runs out of charge quickly can cross over small bumps so you have to pick it up for room to room but other than that it’s fine

      Buyer BEWARE!! The mop is not made to last and their customer service is worse!!! We have had to have our $500 unit replaced several times and always ends up failing. I never asked for anything for free, never asked for our money back, simply want what I paid for to work. Spent hours on the phone troubleshooting with multiple representatives/managers, was hung up on multiple times, undermined and untimely resulting in being told there is nothing that can be done and we need to purchase another unit. Save your money!! Hopefully this review will stop the next person from purchasing!!

        Would not buy this again
        Like several reviews here I loved this mop when I first got it. Ordered as a package along with the vacuum and automatic emptying station. About a year in I started having issues. It stopped reporting when the tank was empty and kept mopping when empty. CS and online FAQs weren't able to help. It sort of started working ok and I monitored the tank whenever in use. Then it stopped charging. Tried all the suggestions. Also bought a new battery. That seemed to help for the next few times I used it. Then stopped charging. After many resets and cleanings it seemed to work again. But only for a little while. Now a few months out of warranty it seems dead. Won't connect. Occasionally flashes a white light ring but generally won't respond. This is not an inexpensive item but now I'm faced with replacing it or giving up on the robot mop all together. Very disappointed. The vacuum is great. Too bad the mop isn't the same quality

          Really not worth it.
          It can do a decent job WHEN it works, but 9 times out of 10 it's too feeble to move itself off the base unless you're standing next to it and can give it a push to get started. Customer service did reach out to me and sent me new tires to help with the traction, but after two goes it went back to not being able to move itself again. For the money, they really need to come up with a robot that is capable of moving by itself. I mean, that's kind of the definition of a robot.

            Not recommended at all
            This mop gets stuck easily, it will not go over a thin transition from room to room. It's not able to do what it's advertised to be able to do. I will be returning it.

              ONLY LASTS LONG ENOUGH TO GET THRU WARRANTY PERIOD
              I purchased a i7 brava m6 bundle a couple years back. They worked amazing when we first got them, really up until about 6 months ago. Then all of a sudden our brava m6 mop stopped working. It wouldn't charge anymore. I contacted customer service and they said it's out of warranty and they couldn't help. After arguing with them about the longevity of the robots only lasting a couple years they caved and sent me a power cord, obviously not the problem, but I guess customer service could say they tried. I also purchased an extra battery at CS's recommendation. Still didn't work. I've tried contacting CS again through email but can't get a response. Maybe I'm old fashioned but if I pay a good amount of money for an item, I expect it to last more than 2 years, warranty or not. And if it doesn't, I expect the manufacturer to take responsibility for a defective item.

                Product died, unable to contact support
                The mopping robot worked for several months then proceeded to die 10 months after purchasing. Robot will not charge, error message says install genuine iRobot battery (which is present) and will do nothing at all. Customer service is not available. Unable to reach anyone on the phone and submitting a ticket via the website with a "2 day" turnaround goes unanswered. For $450, I would think about spending money elsewhere.

                  would not buy again
                  bought 2 years ago, and now it won't charge. tried rebooting, uninstalling and reinstalling the battery. The trouble shooting info on app is so vague and homogenized, it's like rocket science! And much more trouble than getting out my O-Cedar mop from the closet and just mopping myself! Also the cleaning solution is always out of stock when I need some. I've spent more time trying to get it to work than I ever did mopping.

                    I get errors code 7 wheel assemblies, would purchase wheel assemblies if avaible. Only option is trade for new, trade in is only $75.00 cost me $274.00 for wheels, To much Need to look at different brand

                      LInk is misleading, not for mapping
                      I was very frustrated trying to get the M6 to link to my J7 vacuum. From what I read/understood was they would link and the mapping part would be done on the M6 so it wouldn't have to map again. I sent it out 4 times mopping at over an hour each and never got close to finishing. I do have a 3400 square foot home (not all hard surface), so it's a big job. I finally read where you could use the dry sweeping pad to map quicker. That was the key. This should actually be the first step when sending it out to map. Then you can do the rooms/labels/etc and finally go mop. It also isn't covering all ground like the J7 does, like in corners and such. It does dry quick with the fluid provided. I am impressed with that. I love the J7 but no really impressed with the M6. I would recommend but will let everyone know that it's a pain getting it going and be prepared for your cleaning jobs even in small areas to take over 30 minutes to do when the J7 does the same job in 2 minutes.

                        I waited a while before writing this review so that the depth of my frustration would not come out in the composing... I failed. I have had the Braava M6 for a bit over a year, now, and I have yet to have my entire place (ground floor only) mapped or properly mopped. Little did I know that the max height for its threshold was a few mm's /below/ standard build code on a new house because, even defining thresholds, it gets stuck. I have called CS numerous times and have been told a variety of things to try; all of which I did try, and still I can't get it to work properly unless I put it in a room with a door, and close it so that it only mops that area. That, though, kind of defeats the purpose of the whole unit. I can't even find a way to jimmy-rig some thing to get it to map the whole place. Recently, upon suggestion, I reset the whole thing and managed to download the map from my Roomba (which I LOVE) to the Braava since they're supposed to be compatible. Instead, and to my frustration, I have to stalk after the thing to move it out of rooms it was never asked to go in to. Bottom line? If you live in the kind of place where you have no, or minimal height, thresholds then this is for you. If not... it's useless and frustrating.

                          The motors that turn the wheels are not strong enough for the mop to set off from its charging base. If you're not standing next to it to actually push it off the base to get it moving, it won't do anything. Therefore, it is useless and a waste of money.

                              This product is junk
                              This thing works for about a week then it becomes glitchy. Will not complete a full clean. Constantly gets stuck on objects even after you go to great lengths to remove obstacles. It seems like it will go out of its way to find an obstacle. I've had to follow behind it at least 4 times now micro managing it which completely defeats the purpose of automation. It ONLY seems to function when doing a linked clean initiated by a vacuum bot but it still can run into a number of errors that terminate the clean. It can never find its way back to it's docking port without intervention. IRobot completely dropped the ball on this product. They need to figure out the difference between algorithms in bots like the j7 and this garbage and fix it because when you look up this trash on other website it's the exact same complaints when you get past all the fake paid reviews praising this 400 dollar toy. Do not buy until they upgraded it's software significantly. This thing performs so poorly I wouldn't be surprised if someone could sue iRobot and win.

                                From a Dumb Mop to a Smart Mop.
                                I started out with one of the first generations or two of this brilliant invention. It was so dumb it barely kept up in the small area the 'Cube" would allow to mop at. For those not familiar with the old version/s, you needed a small cube to mop an area based on the bluetooth signal where it was mopping if I recall correctly. BUT, WOW! Such a huge improvement and upgrade to have this unit at home. It intelligently works and worth having this unit as part of your robot cleaning crew. Worth the money, worth the effort, worth the time it saves and most importantly worth the money. On my first run, it mopped for almost two hours. How would you like to have your floors clean for that long? Buy it!

                                  This product WORKED like a dream!
                                  When I first purchased this product I couldn't stop bragging about it to family, friends and strangers. Well the bragging has changed to complaining. My robot has docking issues. It cannot leave the base when programmed. I had a daily schedule, now I have a piece of junk. It also has leakage from the container and rust on the metal part of the base. I paid too much for this item to have so many issues with it. Don't waste your money.

                                    Stopped Working Again
                                    Well apparently another update and now the braava stopped working. Just the dreaded circle of white light. Won't reset. Makes no sound when trying to reset connection. Was great while it lasted but too much money for it to constantly break.

                                      Incredibly Finicky & Doesn't Last
                                      Bought this in 2020, and had docking issues from the get go (it could not figure out how to leave OR get back on the docking station, we always had to move it manually for it to start cleaning, no matter where we put the station), and had to resort to putting a piece of cardboard under the station for it to dock and charge properly, otherwise it never lined up right and ended up not charging - now it just doesn't work. We've cleaned the sensors, replaced the pads, cleaned the wheels, factory reset, updated, anything we could think of/everything recommended, and it just spins in circles in front of the station repeatedly. It's basically a spinning brick. Really not happy spending this much money on something that never worked right out the box, and is now failing.

                                        first let me say, separate vacuums and mops are the only way to clean your home. these all in ones that are now showing up on the market are garbage. you cant have a mop going over your carpet, that's a disaster waiting to happen. now to the irobot m6. i have a couple of these operating in my home and they have been trouble free for 2 years. if i would make one improvement it would be to have a mopping brush on both sides of the wheels so you completely do away with tread marks.

                                          Save your money.
                                          Bought this about two years ago. Used very infrequently. Getting error message around tank not being full. Could not be more full. Was told I had to buy a new tank by customer service. The thing is practically new. I've spent more time today trying to get it to work than it would have taken me to mop the whole house. Save your money.

                                              I am so disappointed.
                                              I used this a least a couple of times a week as we have dogs that always seem to get into something muddy and it did a great job. Just before going on winter vacation, I kept getting an error telling me to move my Braava to an even surface, which I did several times. I rebooted it, uninstalled it and still no luck. When I return from vacation I tried again, same problem. When I called customer service they said that they could not do anything since it was out of warranty, but they did offer to send a new set of wheels. I replaced the wheels, tried again and same message. So at this point it would seem that I have a piece of garbage plugged into my wall and no one can seem to fix the issue. I am really torn as to whether or not I should just go ahead and replace. ps. Love my Rhoomba.

                                                    Updates killed my Braava
                                                    My Braava worked great for a year and a half. Have mainly wood floors, 3 cats and a dog, and the mop cleaned up our main floor like a champ. Used it on an almost daily basis. Then one day it stopped working. After talking the tech support, I found out that iRobot pushed out an update, and it bricked my mop. Since it was out of warranty the best they could do is give me $50 for a trade-in if I wanted to buy a new one at full price.
