The trash bin operates smoothly and looks really good. It appeared bigger in the presentation on the website. I was disappointed that it did not include batteries or a power adapter. One or the other is necessary to operate it. This adds substantially to the cost $25 for 2 sets of batteries and $32 for an adapter. Also couldn’t operate it without a shopping trip. Also included only one deodorizer and no trash bags, and the bag size is smaller than a normal trash bag. If all of these items had been mentioned as necessary to purchase in the written material, it would have made getting started with it easier.

The product description states 13 gallon however, the actual size is much smaller. I would have returned the item due to the ridiculous size difference but my husband had already torn the box and Home Depot stated I couldn’t return it without the box. It was a project just to assemble the trash can as well. Too many tiny screws!!!

This is our second one. First one held up for more than 5 years, so we bought another. Great to not have to touch or step on to open and toss the garbage in. Hoping for another 5 or so years.

Love that it's hands free. When I first received the mechanics weren't working on the lid. After speaking with home depot customer service they sent out a new lid. After receiving, it did work as expected and I surely love everything about it!! It's been a few months since I purchased and I would definitely recommend the brand and home depot!

They hide in the description that cord isn't included in your purchase, and for $142 they don't even bother to throw in a set of batteries to start you off. It's essentially a manual trash can when you receive it. I would have been less annoyed if it had just been pricier overall and had the power accessories included like you'd reasonably expect.

It says it is automatic and rolls, but when you unpackage it you must buy the parts that make it automatic and rolls... that is very frustrating I took it back it already cost to MUCH without having to purchase the parts that were the reason I purchased in the first place.

Didn't come with cord to plug into wall so I could not use for a week til I got some d batteries. Then It lasted about 2 weeks before the lid spring mechanism that opens an closes the lid broke.. Need to get it replaced. Not sure if I got warranty or store service plan.

We love our new trash can. Very easy assembly, pop in batteries, and bam!Only thing we didn’t love is that you have to buy the power cord separately. Other than that, it’s a great product!

The garbage doesn't stay open while im putting garbage in it. It is supposed to stay open while the sensor is blocked but it closes on me while scraping a plate. Ther odor fillet doesn't seem to work. Or it doesn't last long I had it for 3weeks and every time I open the garbage I smell the funk.
