Great garbage can. I didn’t want stainless I really wanted the black. Works perfectly, delivered very fast and fully assembled. Our regular supermarket bought bags fit just fine.

Very handy to use. The locking feature ensures that our toddler grandkids don’t “accidentally” toss out their shoes, expensive toys, or important papers.

They advertise that this is animal safe, BUT IN REALITY IT IS NOT! This item has no weighted bottom, so the animals can knock it over and get into the garage!! 2 :star:️ rating. Perfect size. Like the foot step and feature that allows the lid to stay up.

I have one in virtually every room. They are great if you have pets. The locking lid keeps prowling pets out of the can(s) :grin:

Looks good and keeps the dog away from kitchen garbage. The lock could be a little easier to use but it does the job!

This trash can is perfect for our needs. Sometimes we want to pick up the lid with a hand, and sometimes we use the foot lever. It works great both ways. It's nice to lock it when the 2-year-old visits. Sturdy and nice-looking. Simplehuman responded to questions right away and shipped quickly. Highly recommend.

So roomy....holds a lot more trash than my previous slim can. It goes very nice against my mocha cabinets. The pet lock is the best part...so happy!

This trashcan was exactly what I was hoping for when I ordered it. Closes quietly, the bar to hold off the wall is a great feature and so is the locking option if needed. Any 13 gal bag fits perfectly. Love this can!

This was purchased primarily due to our beagle being obsessed with the trash can and it’s contents. We had a smaller trash can of a different brand and he still got into it. The lock had broken shortly after we got it. I can tell already that this one is much higher quality and the design fits the aesthetics of our home. Our dog has yet to conquer it! I love it so much that I bought another one for my daughter for her new house!

Simplehuman makes a great trash can. It locks, it has a bumper so it won’t scratch your wall, a step to open, raise with your hand when you need it to stay open and the best customer service.

This is a nice trash can. The step opener works well. The shape, color and capacity are all good. There could be one improvement however: it would be nice if there was an inner liner or some way to keep the bags in place. Otherwise, happy with purchase.

I love the size and shape. The part that you step on is large and convenient. My only issue is if you step on it quickly one side of the lid pops off and I constantly have to push it back down.

Helped get rid of any bad smells and holds up against brutal heat in no AC. I finally feel clean again~

The can looks very nice and works good. It is supposed to have 5 year warranty. We had it only for three weeks or so hard to say yet how long it will last or what would happen if something breaks. So far everything is great!

The "Silent Close Lid" works consistently only if the lid is opened all the way. The lid does not consistently work to silently close from partially open positions and slams shut just like an ordinary trash can lid unless the lid is opened completely. The silent closer lid does not catch itself overly well even when closing from the completely open position. I was hoping for a little better quality in this product. The best I can say is that this trashcan is "Okay". I am guessing that I got what I paid for and, if I had wanted better quality than I should have purchased one of their heavier, more expensive trashcans. If I could do this over then I would go ahead and buy from a brick and mortar store where I could actually check out the quality of the product first before purchasing.

I like thus can because it's no touch garbage can, opens correctly close is slowly.

it keeps the lid and the size is just the perfect fit for our home. We now have two of them - quite possibly getting a 3rd one for the garage. Thank you!
