Are Kids Workshops offered at the Hialeah Gardens Home Depot?

Kids Workshops are free in-store events that take place every first Saturday of the month between 9am and noon. You may reserve your Kids Workshop kit by registering online for the event. We have a new kit pack every month to keep your little doer engaged. Included in the kits are all necessary craft materials, as well as instructions, stickers, an apron pin, a certificate of achievement, and a Discovery Education extension activity. Any required tools, such as paint, are provided at the workshop. Kits may be ordered online at our Kids Projects Activities page or picked up in-store if you prefer to participate in the workshop from home. Call us or visit our customer service counter to check availability.

Outstanding customer service

We were assisted by associate Javier, a nice gentleman that wears glasses. We were searching for something specific in the plumbing and didn’t even ask for assistance but he saw us struggling to find the item and he assisted us and found the item very quickly. Not just that, but he continued to inquire about the plumbing issue that we were having and gave us advice and suggestions on which pieces and products we should get and helped assemble them. This is such an amazing employee!!!!!!

Huge Home Depot.. This is the store if you need lumber!

The only store in my area (30 miles away) that carried enough lumber inventory for my project. Everyone was very kind and helpful.

2 amazing employees

Anthony Hernandez and Yeni Persia were the best on a night where I really needed some help and assistance. The time they took to be so attentive and on point made a huge difference as I am currently recovering for surgery and still trying to get things accomplished. Thank you so much !

Stop losing customers

I have been waiting for 45 minutes to be taken care of at the paint department. I have spoken to several associates who state they can’t help us. They have called the person in charge through the communicating system at the store 7 times by now and all someone came to say was the person was at lunch and at this time we still haven’t been able to buy our paint. It has been now over 45 mins. They don’t have enough personal is what they have been saying, i assume because home depot can’t pay to more of them. However, while i waited you lost 5 customers in the span of 45 minutes. So you can’t pay more staff because you are losing customers. I have had this home depot at the top of my list always. Sorry to say it no longer is. It’s been an hour and 11 mins and now i have finally been taken care of by someone who says is not the one in charge of the paint department, has no name tag and no uniform.

Best Customer Service I have seen in a while

A young man by the name of Gabriel rendered the best customer service that I haven't seen in a while. This associate went above and beyond to the call of Customer Service, he didn't make me wait that long, under 7 minutes he was back to the self check-out area with the merchandise I was looking for and additional merchandise to fill in the gaps in the secure cabinet. Excellent communication skills and lots of common sense (which is almost lost nowadays). He helps each customer differently but with the same consistency of getting a smile at the end of each customers shopping experience. I analyze this with the customer in front of me, with me and the one after me. Keep up the same attitude always, never change and if you change...change for the better. Thank you, Gabriel!

Great inventory selection

We went to other Home Depots, but the one in Hiealiah was the one with inventory. Everybody was helpful and kind. Thank you!

How Doers Get More Done only if you can get associates and managers to assist. Was not able to get more done because of the level of service. Had to leave without necessary materiel.
