What home repairs should I make before spring storms hit?
Be certain your home is set for spring temperature swings by replacing or repairing faulty parts of your hardscaping. Check cinder blocks and bricks for cracks, and ensure indoor ceiling tiles are free from water damage and missing pieces. If moisture freezes inside the cracks, you could be in for a headache. On the exterior of your home, examine roof shingles or metal roofing for damage or rust that may let water leak inside. Keep gutters clear and functional to prevent ice dams if you're still prone to ice storms and snow. Lastly, chimney caps and vinyl siding should be changed out if they're in poor condition.
What varieties of moving boxes do you offer?
Pick up an assortment of moving boxes to make storage and moving easier. We've got the sizes you're searching for, including specialty ones like TV and wardrobe boxes. Cushion any and all items with bubble cushion and moving blankets to ensure your belongings make it safely. Look into our rental moving trucks, too, and take care of your DIY move needs in one place.
Should I get an inverter generator or a portable generator?
Enjoy electricity in your home even after severe weather takes it out. We've got the options you need when searching for a generator for sale. Inverter generators are quieter and cleaner than traditional portable generators. They'll adjust to the required load, making more noise when they create more power. When exploring different generators, keep in mind that portable generators are more affordable and generate more electricity than inverter generators, but they're heavier and louder. Always run your generators outside, away from windows and doors, for safety purposes.
Do you have doorbell cameras?
Enjoy peace of mind, safety, and privacy with a wireless or wired doorbell camera. No more peeking through a peephole when you can view human or animal visitors in real time. Some doorbell cams even let you chat remotely via your phone, a useful interaction for delivery people or to scare off would-be porch pirates. Many cameras integrate with your smart home hub or app to give you flexible accessibility. Save video clips for future reference and worry less with more control.
