Frequently Asked Questions About Your Store

Does The Home Depot have good deals for Father's Day?

Shop now for Father's Day gifts that Dad will love. The Home Depot Father's Day Sale runs June 4–24 online or in-store, and you can save on outdoor power equipment, smart home gifts, grills, tools, and more. We've got Father's Day deals on all the presents you'll need to make his day.

How can I prepare my home for summer temperatures?

Make certain your home is set for summer temperatures by replacing or repairing faulty components of your hardscaping. On the outside of your home, examine roof shingles or metal roofs for damage or rust that could let water come in. Keep gutters clear of debris to keep rain overflow from backing up into your home when storms arrive. Chimney caps and vinyl siding should be changed out if they're badly weathered. Also, check cinder blocks and bricks for cracks, and ensure indoor ceiling tiles are free from water damage. If moisture gets in the cracks, you might be dealing with damage.

What's your selection of moving boxes like?

Pick up a mix of moving boxes to make storage and moving easier. We've got the sizes you're searching for, including specialty ones like wardrobe and TV boxes. Cushion any and all items with bubble cushion and moving blankets to ensure your belongings make it safely. Look into our moving truck rentals, too, and take care of your DIY move needs in one place.

Should I get an inverter generator or a portable generator?

Enjoy power in your home even after severe weather takes it out. We've got the options you need when searching for a generator for sale. Inverter generators are cleaner and quieter than traditional portable generators. They adjust to whatever power load is requested. This means they'll make less noise in times of lesser demand. When exploring different generators, keep in mind that portable generators are more affordable and generate more electricity than inverter generators, but they're louder and heavier. For safety purposes, always run your generators outdoors, away from doors and windows.

What are the benefits of doorbell cameras?

Enjoy privacy, safety, and peace of mind with a wired or wireless doorbell camera. No more peeking through a window or peephole when you can see human or animal visitors in real time. Some doorbell cameras even let you speak to whoever is at the door via your phone, a useful interaction to scare off potential porch pirates or talk to delivery people. Most cameras integrate with your smart home hub or app to give you flexible and easy accessibility. Save video clips for future reference as needed.

What's the project at The Home Depot Kids Workshop in July 2026?

Head to the Kids Workshop on the 4th of July, from 9 a.m. to noon or while supplies last. It's time to put together a wooden go-kart toy! Your little builder can assemble their very own go-kart craft — like the racetrack version but kid-sized. Remember to leave some time to race your new go-kart toy with others!

Does the Arlington Home Depot offer Curbside Pickup?

Yes, you can pick up Curbside Orders from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. using The Home Depot app. Select "Curbside with The Home Depot App" at checkout when shopping eligible Store Pickup items. We'll let you know via email or text message when your order is ready at the store. Bring a valid, government-issued photo ID with you.
