Frequently Asked Questions About Your Store

Are washing machines on sale for Father's Day at Home Depot?

This June, find Father's Day gifts that fit his interests. Check out the savings in-store and online at our big Father’s Day Sale, and find great deals on everything from patio furniture and tool storage to generators and riding lawn mowers. We've also got up to 40% off Milwaukee tools. These bargains run from June 4th to 24th, 2026, only, so don't miss them.

What home repairs should I make before summer storms hit?

Make certain your home is equipped for summer temperatures by replacing faulty components of your hardscaping. If water gets inside the cracks, you might be dealing with mold. Check brick and cinder blocks for cracks, and ensure indoor ceiling tiles are free from missing pieces. On your house's exterior, examine shingles or metal roofing for damage that could let water come in. Keep gutters fully functional to prevent overflow from backing up into your home when storms arrive. Lastly, vinyl siding and chimney caps should be changed out if they're in poor condition.

Do you carry wardrobe moving boxes?

Pick up an assortment of moving boxes to make moving and storage easier. We've got the sizes you're looking for, including specialty ones like wardrobe and TV boxes. Cushion any and all items with bubble cushion and moving blankets to ensure your belongings make it to your next location safely. Look into our rental moving trucks, too, and take care of your DIY move needs in one place.

Should I get an inverter generator or a portable generator?

Restore electricity in your home even after severe storms and wind take it out. We've got the options you need when searching for a generator for sale. Inverter generators are cleaner and quieter than traditional portable generators. They'll adjust to the required load, making less noise when they create less power. When shopping for generators, keep in mind that portable generators are more affordable and generate more electricity than inverter generators, but they're heavier and louder. For safety purposes, always run your generators outside, away from windows and doors.

What benefits do doorbell cameras have?

Enjoy privacy, peace of mind, and safety with a wired or wireless doorbell camera. Stop peeking through an adjacent window when you can view human or animal visitors in real time. Some doorbell cams even let you chat remotely via your phone, a useful interaction for delivery people or to scare off wannabe porch pirates. Many cameras integrate with your smart home hub or app to give you easy and flexible accessibility. Choose to save video clips for future reference and worry less with more control.

When is the next Home Depot Kids Workshop?

Head to our Kids Workshop from 9–12 noon on 6/6/2026. Sign up for free to build a pint-sized soccer game. We provide the materials and you bring the creativity. Team up with your kids to make this fun craft while supplies last. The best part is playing the game, so leave some time to play a few rounds of DIY soccer!
