Frequently Asked Questions About Your Store

Does The Home Depot have a Father's Day sale?

The Home Depot Father's Day Sale is coming up, so it's time to get shopping for Father's Day gifts that your dad will love. From traditional gifts like grills, outdoor power equipment, and tools, to practical gifts like generators, ladders, and garage storage, we've got Father's Day deals on all the presents he's been waiting for. Shop the sales online or in-store from June 4–24, 2026, and make Dad proud of the bargains you found.

How can I prep my home for scorching summer temps?

Make certain your home is set for relentless summer weather by repairing faulty parts of your home and hardscaping. Check cinder blocks and bricks for cracks, and ensure indoor ceiling tiles are free from missing pieces and water damage. On your house's exterior, examine roof shingles or metal roofing for damage that may let water leak inside. Keep gutters clear of debris to prevent overflow from entering your home when storms arrive. Lastly, chimney caps and vinyl siding should be swapped out if they're badly weathered.

Do you have moving boxes?

Pick up a variety of moving boxes to make your move easier. We've got the sizes you need, including specialty ones like TV and wardrobe boxes. Cushion any and all items with bubble cushion and moving blankets to ensure your belongings make it to your next location safely. Look into our moving truck rentals, too, and take care of your DIY move needs in one place.

Is it good to have a generator at home?

Having a generator means you're prepared year-round for any circumstances Mother Nature throws at you. Whether dealing with tornados or severe thunderstorms, a portable generator lets you enjoy power when the elements take it out. When browsing generators for sale, don't forget that portable generators cost less and generate more electricity than inverter generators, but they're heavier and louder. Always run your generators outdoors, away from windows and doors, for safety purposes.

Do you have wired or wireless doorbell cameras?

Enjoy safety, peace of mind, and privacy with a wireless or wired doorbell camera. No more peeking through a window when you can see human or animal visitors in real time. Some doorbell cameras even let you speak to whoever is at the door via your phone, a useful interaction to scare off would-be porch pirates or talk to delivery people. Many cameras integrate with your smart home hub or app to give you easy and flexible accessibility. Choose to save video clips for future reference as needed.

When is the Home Depot Kids Workshop in July?

Building this small wooden toy with wheels is a great way to hone listening abilities, creativity, and fine motor skills. Team up with your kids to make this quick craft while supplies last. Don't forget to leave some time to race your new go-kart toy!
