Frequently Asked Questions About Your Store

What's on sale for the Spring Deals event in 2026?

Another big spring sale is here, so get ready to save money. Whether you're doing spring cleaning and repairs with the latest tools or upgrading your home with new appliances, we've got what you're looking for. Don't forget to check out our patio furniture, outdoor power equipment and lawn and garden bargains, too. Get great Spring Deals from 4/23–5/10 and enjoy your new products year-round.

How can I prepare my home for fluctuating spring temps?

Be confident your home is equipped for wild temperature swings by replacing or repairing faulty components of your hardscaping and home. On your house's exterior, examine roof shingles or metal roofs for rust or damage that might let water come in. Keep gutters fully functional to keep rain overflow from backing up into your home when storms arrive. Chimney caps and vinyl siding should be swapped out if they're in poor condition. Also, check cinder blocks and brick for cracks, and ensure indoor ceiling tiles are free from missing pieces. If moisture gets inside the crevices, you could be looking at trouble.

Do you carry large moving boxes?

Make storage or moving easier by picking up an assortment of moving boxes. We've got the sizes you've been searching for, including specialty ones like TV and wardrobe boxes. Cushion any and all items with moving blankets and bubble cushion to ensure your belongings make it safely. Remember to check out our rental moving trucks if you need those, too.

Should I get an inverter generator or a portable generator?

Enjoy power in your home even after severe storms take it out. We've got the options you need when searching for a generator for sale. Inverter generators are cleaner and quieter than traditional portable generators. They adjust to whatever power load is requested. This means they'll make less noise in times of lesser demand. When browsing generators, keep in mind that portable generators cost less and generate more electricity than inverter generators, but they're louder and heavier. Always run your generators outdoors, away from windows and doors, for safety purposes.

Does The Home Depot sell doorbell cameras?

Enjoy peace of mind, safety, and privacy with a wireless or wired doorbell camera. No more peeking through a window or peephole when you can see animal or human visitors in real time. Some doorbell cams even let you talk to whoever is on your doorstep via your phone, a useful interaction to scare off would-be porch pirates or talk to delivery people. Most cameras integrate with your smart home hub or app to give you easy accessibility. Choose to save video clips for future reference as it suits you.

What's the project for the free Kids Workshop in May?

Head to the Kids Workshop on May 2nd, from 9–12 noon or while supplies last. It's time to put together a keepsake box! Your little builder can assemble their very own trinket holder — complete with a sliding lid. Remember to leave plenty of time to decorate your box with stickers!
