Frequently Asked Questions About Your Store

How long is The Home Depot Father's Day Sale?

Shop now for Father's Day gifts that your dad will love. The Home Depot Father's Day Sale runs June 4–24, and you can save on patio furniture, tool storage, appliances, ladders, and more. You can also get up to 40% off Milwaukee tools. We've got Father's Day deals on everything you'll need to make his day.

How can I prepare my home for summer?

Make certain your home is ready for summertime temps by replacing or repairing faulty components of your home and hardscaping. On the exterior of your home, inspect shingles or metal roofing for rust or damage that can let water leak inside. Keep gutters clear and functional to prevent excess water from backing up into your home when storms arrive. Chimney caps and vinyl siding should be swapped out if they're in poor condition. Also, check cinder blocks and brick for cracks, and ensure indoor ceiling tiles are free from missing pieces. If water gets inside the crevices, you might be looking at trouble.

What types of moving boxes do you have?

Make storage or moving easier by picking up an assortment of moving boxes. We've got the sizes you've been looking for, including specialty ones like wardrobe and TV boxes. Cushion any and all items with bubble cushion and moving blankets to ensure your belongings make it safely. Don't forget to check out our moving truck rentals if you need those as well.

Is it good to have a generator at home?

Enjoy power in your home even after severe weather takes it out. We've got the options you need when searching for a generator for sale. Inverter generators are quieter and cleaner than traditional portable generators. They'll adjust to the required load, making more noise when they create more power. When shopping for generators, keep in mind that portable generators cost less and generate more electricity than inverter generators, but they're heavier and louder. For safety purposes, always run your generators outside, away from windows and doors.

Do you have wired or wireless doorbell cameras?

Enjoy privacy, peace of mind, and safety with a wired or wireless doorbell camera. No more peeking through a peephole or window when you can see human or animal visitors in real time. Some doorbell cams even let you chat remotely via your phone, a useful interaction to scare off potential porch pirates or talk to delivery people. Many cameras integrate with your smart home app or hub to give you easy and flexible accessibility. Choose to save video clips for future reference as it suits you.

When is the next free Kids Workshop?

Head to the Kids Workshop from 9–noon on 7/4/26. Sign up for free to build a pint-sized toy go-kart. We provide the materials and you provide the creativity. Team up with your little ones to make this quick craft while supplies last. The best part is pushing around your go-kart, so leave some time to play with others!
