Frequently Asked Questions About Your Store

Is there a sale on storage bins and shelves?

Home Depot Garage Storage Savings are here, so it's time to get shopping. From tool chests to workbenches, we've got bargains on what you want for a neatly arranged garage. Shop the sales from June 22nd through August 18th, 2026, and make this the year you finally organize the shed, basement, and garage.

Is The Home Depot having an Independence Day sale?

Replace your appliances now and enjoy them for years to come. Shop our 4th of July Appliance Sale for affordable upgrades on refrigerators, dishwashers, ranges, and more. If you're all set with appliances, you can also save on lighting, bath accessories, and tools. It's easy to shop The Home Depot 4th of July Sale, which runs from June 25th through July 8th, 2026, on our mobile app or in person at your local store.

How can I prepare my home for summer?

Be certain your home is set for summer temps by repairing or replacing faulty components of your home. If water gets in the crevices, you might be dealing with damage. Check cinder blocks and brick for cracks, and ensure indoor ceiling tiles are free from missing pieces and water damage. On your home's exterior, inspect metal roofs or shingles for damage or rust that can let water come in. Keep gutters clear and functional to prevent water overflow from going beneath your shingles when storms arrive. Lastly, vinyl siding and chimney caps should be changed out if they're badly weathered.

Do you carry moving boxes?

Pick up a variety of moving boxes to make storage and moving easier. We've got the sizes you've been searching for, including specialty ones like TV and wardrobe boxes. Cushion any and all items with bubble cushion and moving blankets to ensure your belongings make it to your next location safely. Look into our rental moving trucks, too, and take care of your DIY move needs in one place.

Why should I get a generator?

Having a generator means you're prepared year-round for whatever circumstances Mother Nature throws at you. Whether dealing with tornados, hurricanes, severe thunderstorms, or blizzards, a portable generator lets you enjoy electricity after the elements take it out. When exploring different generators for sale, don't forget that inverter generators cost more than portable generators, but they're also quieter and cleaner. Always run your generators outside, away from doors and windows, for safety purposes.

Do you have wired or wireless doorbell cameras?

Enjoy safety, peace of mind, and privacy with a wireless or wired doorbell camera. Stop peeking through a peephole or window when you can watch animal or human visitors in real time. Some doorbell cams even let you speak to whoever is at the door via your phone, a useful interaction for delivery people or to scare off wannabe porch pirates. Several cameras integrate with your smart home hub or app to give you easy accessibility. Save video clips for future reference as needed.

What's the project for the free Kids Workshop in July?

Don't miss our Kids Workshop from 9–12 noon on 7/4/26. Sign up for free to build a pint-sized go-kart. We provide the materials and you provide the creativity. Team up with your kids to make this quick craft while supplies last. Remember to leave some time to race your new go-kart toy with others!
