Frequently Asked Questions About Your Store

When is The Home Depot Memorial Day Sale?

Get ready for The Home Depot Memorial Day Sale! Find big savings on washers and refrigerators, outdoor living accessories like outdoor cooking supplies, patio furniture, and grills, plus outdoor power equipment to keep your landscaping and lawn pristine. Save up to 40% off select appliances and select online bath items. Check it out online or in-store from May 14th through the 27th.

How can I prep my home for flip-flopping spring temps?

Make certain your home is set for wild temperature swings by replacing faulty parts of your hardscaping and home. On the exterior of your home, inspect shingles or metal roofs for rust or damage that could let water come in. Keep gutters fully functional to prevent overflow from entering your home. Chimney caps and vinyl siding should be swapped out if they're badly weathered. Also, check cinder blocks and bricks for cracks, and ensure indoor ceiling tiles are free from missing pieces and water damage. If moisture gets inside the crevices, you might be looking at a problem.

Do you carry large moving boxes?

Pick up a mix of moving boxes to make moving and storage easier. We've got the sizes you've been searching for, including specialty ones like TV and wardrobe boxes. Cushion your items with bubble cushion and moving blankets to ensure your belongings make it safely. Look into our moving truck rentals, too, and take care of your DIY move needs in one place.

Do I need a generator?

Restore power in your home even after severe storms and wind take it out. We've got the options you need when searching for a generator for sale. Inverter generators are cleaner and quieter than traditional portable generators. They adjust to whatever power load is requested. This means they'll make less noise in times of lesser demand. When searching for generators, keep in mind that portable generators cost less and generate more electricity than inverter generators, but they're heavier and louder. Always run your generators outside, away from windows and doors, for safety purposes.

Do you have wired or wireless doorbell cameras?

Enjoy safety, peace of mind, and privacy with a wired or wireless doorbell camera. No more peeking through a nearby window when you can see animal or human visitors in real time. Some doorbell cameras even let you talk to whoever is on your doorstep via your phone, a useful interaction to scare off potential porch pirates or talk to delivery people. Several cameras integrate with your smart home app or hub to give you flexible accessibility. Save video clips for future reference and worry less with more control.

What's the project for the free Kids Workshop in June?

Head to our Kids Workshop on June 6th, from 9–noon or while supplies last. It's time to put together a goalie game! Your little builder can assemble their very own soccer craft — like the tabletop version but kid-sized. Don't forget to leave some time to play a few rounds of DIY soccer!
